Mostly, have the best/safest bonuses in terms of position be less efficient (less borders, corners), maybe use the number of provinces -2/3 for the income; the worst/riskier bonuses in terms of position (lots of borders, center) should be the most efficient bonuses, maybe use the number of provinces -1 for the income.

Maybe also add the isle of man in a bonus worth 0. It could be used as an extra connection between N.Ireland and Scotland/Wales.

This is a complete mess of a thread and has turned into a stupid argument when people really should be spending this time and effort on more useful things like what template we should use.

Since this is a "UK players tournament" I think it is ridiculous that Plat isn't being outright accepted for living in Northern Ireland.

Not a fan of the templates either, my favorite choice would be old strat 1v1, but I'm old fashioned like that.

@hedja the thing is he isnt living in Northern Ireland, and then after lying about that said he is from there. So I don't know, the only reason why I still haven't accepted him is because there is limited spaces (I doubt we can hit 64) and its a UK tournament, so preferably I would like actual UK players.

Though if the popular opinion is to let the irish join in I don't mind changing it to UK and ireland.

Why not just change it to the "British Isles Tournament" to save a lot of arguing. That will include the Irish, and also not include Gibraltar/Falklands etc.
