You ignore both anomalies and focus on the path ahead.
You trudge on until you see what looks like the lodge in the distance. As you continue on the path you realize the structure is not the lodge but a building of some sort. The path takes you ever closer to the structure. You realize it is an entrance to an underground complex.

A. Enter the complex
B. Look around the entrance
C. Look at the surrounding woodland
D. Continue along the path

You enter the complex. As you enter you realize the complex is more like a mining network. The room you enter appears to be a dressing room. You see some warm-looking clothes, specifically a jacket and white t-shirt and jeans with heavy boots.

A. Change clothes
B. Continue into the complex
C. Walk out of the complex

You take off your current attire and change into the new clothes. Just as you do, a small note flies out of the jacket onto the floor. You pick it up. It reads

"To whom it may concern, 7/15/15/4.25/15/21.21/14/4/5/18/19/20/1/14/4.18/5/13/5/13/2/5/18.20/8/9/19"

You shove the note into your pocket.

A. Continue into the complex
B. Walk out of the complex

You walk deeper into the complex, the mines. The path is lit (af) and you see quite clearly all the holes and marks where pickaxes once picked away. You feel almost claustrophobic, not at how small but how large. How little room you occupy, how much could room is occupied by things not yourself. You feel an apprehension for things to come, you just.. you just KNOW, that calamity is to happen. The threat looms over the horizon, your skin shivers in cold sweat. The night is not 2 hours in and you feel ready to collapse.
As you ponder, you stumble on a rock. As you get up, you realize you are in a very open area with a stream. There's even a water mill of some sort, a tower. Perhaps this was the hub where the miners gathered before and after work. Moonlight peaks in from cracks and holes at the top of this vast, open space.
As you look, you hear, no, detect, a presence from afar. It is somewhere within your peripheral vision you could swear. The night grows chilling, terrifying, absolutely dreadful. You do not want to be here.

A. Remain still
B. Try to run out of the mines
C. Run inside the water mill area

a. cuz this place is lit af

You remain still. The presence seems to remain in the area, growing closer to your person.

A. Remain still
B. Run toward the mill
C. Run back to the entrance

A. Remain still.

If death approaches I deserve it for my earlier stupidity lol, but at least I can rightfully call my friends murderers. I was stupid but chucking me outside when two friends are already missing? They're retards. My new agenda is join sides with this evil to kill them all. Especially Ramone. F***er couldn't of just shut up.

You continue to remain where you are. The presence seems to loom for another second. You hear an echo in the cave, and the sound of footsteps. The presence is no longer felt by you. You are alone once more.

B. Explore the open space further
C. Leave the complex

@Andrew, except "shut up Ramone" didn't go anything like intended lol. I was very specific about it, just wanting answers and to take control of the group; and I stayed true to the characters, but Genghis said the story had a planned direction and that he would steer us. Guess we were destined to piss everyone off at some point lol.

So I don't think my choice of "shut up Ramone" ruined it, since I could never in my wildest dreams have foreseen the drastic consequences that followed, let alone wanted them. They utterly destroyed the relationships imo, throwing us out to a potential killer. Makes them murderers in my book. If it was 'ruined' that's possibly where, but you've got to trust in the authors story. I do wish it had gone another way; locked ourselves in, heard a useless explanation of what they saw happen, and finally gone looking in the spooky woods for our friends, but it's not our story, so nothing could ruin it since Genghis writes it all and ignores what doesn't fit. It is what it is.

You continue along the path. As you walk, you come across a barn on the right side of the path. Or what looks like a barn at least.

A. Walk to the barn.
B. Walk back to the complex.
