This is mainly a suggestion for diplomacy players, since sometimes when the majority of players agree to wait for a person to take his turn only for someone to disregard it and boot the player anyway and there isn't really a way to prevent something like that from happening.

Uservoice description:

Add an option when creating a game, so that only the host is allowed to directly boot a player who has passed the direct-boot timer.

The host will have his own sepearate auto-boot timer in the options and cannot be directly booted. If the host is booted then every player in the game could use the direct-boot option.

10/10 one of the best things on uservoice.

I can see how this gets abused in the future. Warlight won't go for this.

Its a nice idea though, just impractical and leaves a door open for other problems

A "Vote to Boot" option would be SO COOL! :D

You should uservoice it. Hopefully it is on his immediate roadmap, I can't wait for a feature like this. :)


Seriously though, I agree with Nogals. Too many doors open for this to be abused, despite how convenient it would be. I can see many situations where terrible hosts exploit this feature...

Vote-to-boot

If a player doesn't take their turn before this time, players can vote to boot them. If all players that are still alive in the game vote, the player is booted.

noa separate vote boot you can't have vote boot on only

I think it should be changed so only the majority of players need to VtE or VtB, not a unanimous decision.
