Maybe I am wrong, let me try another interpretation, then. From unconscious and conscious likings, whites will be liked more by whites, leading to a disproportionally high amount of whites being hired. Less chances for others. And this isn't to say that this doesn't happen to other skin hues, but it's much less bad for the white-skins, since they're the majority it can be ignored more easily.

I guess but there isn't anything we can do to stop that.

I think you're exaggerating here, but I know the kind. They've hated my guts ever since I said that Nile-Saharans were on average more feisty than other folks due to genetic differences in brain chemistry (I actually found out later that I got this from a dubious (and wrong) source). But I am forever racist. Later, I said that Dutch and North Germanic folk are taller on average though (which is actually true), and noone got flibbergiblety about how I was promoting Neonazi supremacism of the Germanic race.
