Well I'm here to tell you that your wrong. Me alongside Colonel H Cardwell have given a new life to the clan.

We have made a clan constitution by which we follow and life. We have a stable hierarchy system, and in future once we have more members make more departments and offices(we already know the one's well add)

One thread on this clan is enough ...

Agree w/ onoma, you don't need more than one recruitment thread, it's just spam and makes your clan look like desperate assholes.

What could somebody gain from joining Royal Entente, that they can't gain from any other RP clan? It already has a bad reputation due to its founder (Colonel) and the fact that the clan already has two recruitment threads (don't make recruitment threads. Make recruitment games if you want to get anywhere).

Your first goals shouldn't be on a constitution and hierarchy. They should be getting your clan members to know each other, recruiting a bunch of members to try and find your core community, and setting up lots of internal / interclan / recruitment games, to get the ball rolling.

All I've got from this is "we're an RP clan lead by an infamous power-hungry ex-manager, that do nothing to differentiate from any other RP clan in the same field, and just spam the forum with recruitment threads". It's harsh and blunt, but it's true.

Where should you improve? There are two key stages to clan building:

1) Differentiate-

You want to get a USP for your clan. What would I be able to get joining the Royal Entente that I won't get anywhere else? I can get a good community in many places, AOE has a constitution and hierarchy system AND frequent interclan / internal games. Find something special about Royal Entente and focus on that.

2) Outdo-

Now that you're different, you want to find a way to outdo every other clan in your field. You have to prove that you have the best community, the best templates, the most reliable players, the funnest games, the best role-players, the most activity as possible. All of this isn't exactly possible, and the different categories probably go to different clans (Juggernauts have best community, CORP have best templates, Circle have most reliable players, funnest games are debatable - I'd go with CORP but I'm biased :P, {rp} have best role-players, Wolves are most active). You want to focus on a certain aspect, and then be able to say, for example "you will have a great time playing our great templates", or "we're so active we have games every 2 or 3 days".

You have to focus on your clan-building by finding the best attribute you have, consolidating that, getting your players to know each other, recruiting players, removing inactives, starting new things up, consolidate, recruit, remove, event, consolidate, recruit, remove, event. And then it's a never-ending cycle that best satisfies your clan members.

I was a bit harsh, but I'm being true, and I hope I've said some helpful advice to get your clan kickstarted.

All the rp clans are trying to be "everything in one"clans. It's very annoying.

Lol Wow.....Even I saw the sarcasm which is rare lol. I have an Alt in there clan and I can say this....It's got potential but not in its current state. The Theme is good and unique enough to make there own splash but the reputation and Activity is what worries me. The Reputation is not very good for a number of reasons and the activity is not at all good. I think I have seen 1 comments every 3 - 5 days on there forums. There hierarchy is extremely complicated and the constitution even more so. However, If they could just get more members and raise activity they could fix that. We all know my dislike for clans where leaders with total power, but better a dictatorship then a complicated Republic. AOE was simple but with enough rules to keep things on track.

Well, the forum activity isn't a big issue. How many clan games do they have going?

None that I have been invited too but that doesn't mean they don't have any

@Genghis: I'm appalled at you! The USSR prides itself on being purely an RP clan (though we do host a clan-only 1v1 tournament, but it's just for fun)

Scipio never witnessed the glory days of the Falcons (before I got booted). Since then nothing much has happened over there. The Falcons are pretty much irrelevant now apart from TIM, E3f4b5 and TheLastJap.

From what I witnessed, "infamy" would be a better word.
