Oh, and to defeat Swenigan's objections, here's the same template, but where you receive an Order Delay card each turn, [largely*] eliminating the need to use simple 1-army delay moves. Consider this my second submission. I haven't tested this one, because it was not really necessary to use too many delay moves when I tested it in several games.
"Pure Luck" Strategic 1 v 1 (multi-delay cards):
https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?TemplateID=757860I too am disappointed that the 'judges' did not spend anywhere near the time that would be required. Like, you know, 5 minutes to read a post describing a template. Or to watch at least one of the several example games provided. Pretty lame.
Edit: Latest list of example games:
[* Oops, I thought I had qualified this claim when I first posted on this thread, but I see now that I somehow left out the 'largely'. No, it does not completely eliminate the need for delay moves, and I never thought it would; I thought it would "reduce the impulse to use delay moves", as I originally said. Sorry if this omitted qualification caused some misunderstanding in the other thread. -- 12/4/2015 01:28:42]
