I made this game , it has most ppl <10 lvl.

Before you make assumptions , I don't like putting filters because they stagnate growth.

Is this some invasion of the n00bs? Or is it some low level kids who quit soon after beacuse they soon realised they are stupid.

U can join the game

After my experience, 50% of them quit after a few games, so its not a huuuge problem.

'Low level' players will join those games quickly, because they haven't unlocked the settings to host the bigger games themselves.

Fan, if you want diplomacy games filled up with seasoned diplo players, make INVITE GAMES. Don't complain if you're finding low-levelled players in open games (without any prereqs). You are in a clan right? Invite players from your clan! You have friends who play diplomacy right? Invite your friends! It's not worth complaining about.

Is this somehow unique to diplo games?

Doesn't this happen in all Open Games (at least potentially, not literally every time, of course)?

1vs1 auto-games are spammed with < 10 level players.
Edit: I think between 20% - 30%

^ That's why you do ladders. You get paired with people similar to your skill level... much more fun than noob smashing

If you want a game with good players you *MUST* use filters or you will get newbies all day

and if you playing multi days, why not wait you can always keep refreshing the game I like to put mine on lv 50 with 10% boot rate

people can also use alt's more easy w/out heavy filters

Ladder games also give 200% points, plus if you defeat a higher level player you get more points anyway, so they are good for levelling up too. Of course, you can't play 50 ladder games at a time, so there's that.

Somewhat ironically, you have to already be a pretty high level to play ladder games, unless you have a membership.

i would think having new people in Warlight would mean more people to play with, it would just take a little while for them to get use to the game and how it works

It looks to me that you forgot that you were newbie once. I didn't, I was lvl 1 15 days ago ;)
What is the problem? If you create diplo or FFA, set prerequisities. If you want good 1vs1, wait for somebody with appropriate level. If some newb is booted from FFA, it means more space for development for others ;)
Every game needs new blood. If there is more new guys in WL than before, it means that game is growing. More players means more members and therefore money for developers, means better service, more updates, better game in overall. Its that simple :)
