Honestly, I've known that America (and the Western World) have been going downhill. But even if I became president today, I couldn't do a thing. America is so divided in it's own beliefs that I would be useless.

Most Muslims are okay people, but haven't you noticed that wherever Islam goes, terrorism follows? Muslims allow radicals to control their religion and use it as an excuse for seizing political power through violence. No other religion is like that. When you have thousands of terrorists using a faith to justify their activity, that faith becomes toxic. Objectively looking at what Islam is doing for Europe, it's all terrible. The good ones never make headlines. Islam has no place in Europe or other non-Muslim countries.

"Islamic immigration" is actually colonization. Muslims moving to European countries, conducting terrorism and massively outproducing Europeans, IN THEIR OWN COUNTRIES is COLONIZATION! There are cities in European countries where EUROPEANS ARE NOT ALLOWED! IN THEIR OWN HOMES!

It's the name. "United States of AMERICA". We shorten it to America.
Just like "Federal Republic of Brazil" is shortened to Brazil.
Or "People's Republic of China" is shortened to China.

I'm pretty sure no one refers to China as PRC or Brazil as FRB.

Yeah, in terms of lifestyle/personal happiness we're certainly falling behind. But we are still the most powerful country in the world. Whether that makes us the best or the worst is a matter of opinion. Either way, with advancing weapons capabilities such as drones and guided missiles, a soldier based army is becoming increasingly obsolete. With Russia and China competing for power, our place as the #1 isn't likely to last much longer.

Also, the ideological beliefs of Islam lend themselves towards sexism and repression, as with most major religions. ISIS and the terrorist regime is in line with most of their core beliefs. The Islamic community need to rewrite many of their core doctrines and behaviors if they want to remain a viable ideology in the modern world.

It sure used to be... We stood up for what was right. We fought for moral reason. We passed laws, we struct down laws, for moral reason. We waged wars on poverty, not on poor people.

Few countries do this since the 1930s, America is not one of them. Your whole speech sounds like Adolf Hitler speaking. We must resurrect Germany, we must fight for freedom of the German folk!

Literally every generation tends to claim to be on the worst one and declare past ones were better. This is due to an effect of nostalgia on older people that passes through generations through conversations and talking, modified slightly with the newer person's opinion and output, only so it's concept of "last generation" becomes sort of utopic, and then the same happens between this younger person and his sons.

America nor Britain nor any country has even been world's police. They have been world's bullies, but never police. Britain far worse, at least America didn't mow Africa and Ireland of all Africans and Irish.

No. America is a continent and a country, deal with it. We don't need to use the official names all the times, The Chinese Folk Republic, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and (north) Ireland, just say China, Russia, Britain, and America.

Russia is far behind America, while China is far ahead. Russia is much weaker than Americans make it out to be.

The Continent is called after the Italian discoverer Amerigo Vespucci, whereas the name United States of America comes from some british blokes who tried to be important.
The states are united, not the continent.

No there is NOT, depending on meaning of America, see Zephyr's full post. As for EU, it's also often called "Europe", but this is not in heavy usage yet, but Europe more and more by British and French media means everything west of Warsaw Pact/SSRU.

"America" is a continent and the USA is a bond of states who are "united". Deal with the difference.
