Myself, Volsung, Peixoto, Buns, Sultan Kosmitow, and others... But then are you talking about players that are starting to reach the top or players that have that potential? Cause a lot of players could fit that. Ollie hadn't proven himself to the community until a few months ago.... So I mean you should add some information to your question.

Buns, Sultan Kosmitow and Hades are pretty good and the are quite new.

I have probably played longer than most players..... 2011 so I guess I don't qualify as new... maybe a slow starter :P

Guys that I think will be excellent players someday if they continue playing for a while:

These three are still newer players (all joined in the last year) yet all seem to have reached an acceptable level already and seem to continue improving. I will make a bold bet here and say at least two out of these three will take #1 in at least one ladder within one year from now (assuming all continue playing), and within 2 years from now, I predict they will have at least 4 #1's between them.

They already have 2 #1s. In AWF D1 Leagues xD (Both of which jz went undefeated and one of which he beat you)

I'm talking real ladders. Clan ladders don't mean shit, especially when your clan has like 10 of them.

And yeah, I gained a lot of respect for jz in that tournament I played with him. That's why he's on my list. He played a strong game versus me, and that's very impressive for a guy who joined in November 2014.

Hostile, I was under the impression that Miles was an alt.

@Hostile Miles Edgeworth is an alt and he is very old..... And been at that skill level for a while.

Miles is very weird but awesome at the same time! :P

I think Miles is getting better lately. His main is improving on the realtime ladder a bit, and he's never had a 1v1 run like that on his main.

Miles definetely improved! I was very surprised by his 1vs1 ladder performance

Think the most improved has to be buns.
I remember about 3-4 months ago when he first joined RT ladder and he had a rating of about 1400/1500 and I had beat him about 6 times in a row. Now he is one of the best regulars on there.

I think anyone who is active in Illuminati, is asking the right questions + hopes to learn and is patient, is worth paying attention to. That clan is trying to give the right ingredients to the brightest minds of Warlight's next generation to become amazing ... if anyone can do it, they can. That's just my two cents. :)

Also, Sephiroth is fairly new, in the clan Lu Fredd. Top 30 in 1v1 ladder at one point, he should be on this list if he's active.

Volsung, I had him at first, then changed my mind. He is definitely another guy to watch.

Buns isn't upcoming anymore, he's already reached a strong level.

I wish my roommate from a year ago had stayed active... the guy was an engineering major, and I played 2v2 with him every night for three months (edit: never lost, though we did piss off AWESOMEGUY. That's how I met him ^_^). He would've been fantastic. Oh well
