Read the Bible - I've heard many stories about formerly devout Christians who got some time on their hands started reading the Bible page by page, as every devout Christian should do, and when they read what was in it, they didn't necessarily become atheist, but they definitely became much less devout.

Bible says many slanderous things about women as well - for example, if you rape a woman of a country that you are at war with, you are allowed to marry this woman - specifically God-approved.

Islam does not hate all other religions. Have you talked to a Muslim?

Considering that the Bible and Quran are books that stem from two similar Abrahamic religions this is very hypocritical. There is absolutely no reason for you to treat either of these differently.

I don't know if you've ever tried to read the Quran, but I have, and I wasn't able to read much before it made me sick.

I used a donkey's jawbone to kill a thousand men. I beat them with this jawbone over and over again.

A writer needs to use this line for an action movie. Preferably, Liam Neeson or Jason Statham says it.

"God exists. We don't know if it "is" in a certain place/time.

Existence : Anything that can be described exists."

No.

Existnce: have objective reality or being.

keyword there, objective. Not subjective.

God has no objective reality or being.

Additionally:

Existence: to continue to be or live

Something must continue to exist - it does not exist for all of eternity because it once did. When I die I will no longer exist. There are ~7 billion people existing on this planet, not multiple times that due to to all the people that once existed and have since died.

Well, mathematics exist because we can talk about it even if it is not found in nature. Gold unicorns exist in fairy tales so they exist.

In Russell Principia, truth false problems make too many paradoxes so it needs to go. Hence, everything that has a set of properties exist.

Conscience or memory is just a set of events. Identity does not exist as is.

Existance is different from be or not be. It can be applied everywhere at any time. Dragons exist in fairy tales.

Yeah, no.

That's not at all what exist means.

"Subjective reality refers to the reality inside your mind. It is the meaning you assign to things and events. All objects, dreams ideas and “truths” are different for each person."

For something to exist it must have objective reality, that is as pr the definition of the word. You're claiming hat things that have subjective reality exist. They may exist in the world portrayed in a book or movie, ie. from the perspective of the characters in those realities they have objective reality, but to human beings on earth they do not, thus they do not actually exist.

I'm now fully convinced you have no idea what you're talking about. For one, half the Bible was originally directed towards the Jewish. I'm sure God commanded his chosen people to kill themselves, that's why they're still here today. (And running the world according to some disreputable people.)

As for Christianity hating the world, that's why so many churches have started charities. We use charity in order to spread our hatred and destruction.

I have been thinking about which passages you are referring to and guess you are probably mixing Deuteronomy 21:10-14 with Deutoronomy 22:28-29.

You are, essentially a racist atheist who generalizes all religious people together, as many Americans do to Asians or africans. You assume that all religions are exactly the same, and that all religious people are totally on one page.

In reality, this is completely untrue; If the Bible and quran were essentially similar, there wouldn't be Islam and Christianity. It's easy, however, to generalize all religions together, which is what you are doing.

In fact, it's pretty racist of you to assume that Islam is the foreign culture, completely alien to Americans, and therefore my disliking of it must be xenephobia.

Considering Catholicism and Protestantism exist this is null. And you are thinking I am racist against Americans even though I am American.

Good quote, Major General Smedley Butler. Next time I want to explain to someone this one decisive key difference between Christianity and Islam I will hopefully remember to quote this passage in John 1:18, however sadly you have only quoted the first half.

You know the kind. Devout Christians that "don't have enough time" to read the Bible or simply don't read the Bible as church teaches them all they need to know every Sunday (or so they claim). And the ones that, despite this, still preach Christianity as the one great religion, while everyone else who doesn't preach it is going to burn in hell (and they're not afraid to say it) and are satanists, as well as classifying everyone who is not Christian as weirdos, in the lighter scale.

I'm gonna clear up a few misconceptions.

1- Islam does allow husbands to beat women, but ONLY if they do not respond to words at least three times, and even then you hit them lightly (with your hand, not a stick or rod). Nor does Islam forbid women to fight back or beat their husbands.

2- Most Muslims despise and resent terrorists (Taliban, ISIS, al-Qaeda). We hate them for the negative images they portray of us and we hate them for spreading fear and economic and social unstability among us. We hate them for their harsh restrictions of women's rights. (In fact, the Quran makes no mention of burqas or hijab. It only commands women and men to dress modestly, not show cleavage or genitals etc. The whole burqa/hijab thing is a twisting of the original Quranic verse by patriarchic societies.)

3- Thirdly, terrorism is linked to ulterior nefarious motives. Do you really think the Quran orders Muslims to spread Islam 'by the sword' or to destroy places of education and shelter? The incident where ISIS destroyed the Assyrian lamassu statues at Nineveh (the winged bull creatures with heads of men); do you really think that sort of thing is condoned by the Quran? No. The Quran commands to spread Islam through preaching and educated debate. It explicitly forbids forcible conversion. Forcible conversion is no conversion. It urges all Muslims, male and female, to acquire as much knowledge and education as they can.
This means that terrorists are not Muslims. They seek power; they seek to spread terror - under the cloak of religion. This has happened throughout history. The pharaohs of Egypt held power so securely partly because their subjects believed he was a god.

4- If you are the typical American (or European) and believes the lies BBC and CNN feed you about Muslims and terrorism, I urge you to look beyond. You have the Internet, a wonderful resource, to dispel stereotypes and misconceptions. Use it. Read books. All sorts of books, not just those spreading American or Western propaganda. Talk with people from the Middle East, from Pakistan.
