leave him, he is blowing off steam. People lost their shit when levels were introduced then they lost their shit when coins were introduced and now they going crazy over the current warlight changes.

My only problem with this is that I was hoping there would be better changes, like being able to who is online and things.

You can see if a player is online.... "last seen less then 15min" "last seen 6 hours" and so on ...

I do miss first turns. They didn't even get a 21 gun salute.

I can still see mine in my current game... both my selection of territory and my first turn...

I would hate to lose either.

I think he means when you go to the history it starts at turn 1, not the previous turn.

I preferred when it went to the previous turn too.

Weird design decision, but I'm saving my pitchfork for when picks are no longer visible (something I hope never happens).

I appear to have lost my pitch fork.

Edit: Since I'm looking back at my comment and I realize that many people will misunderstand what I said, I meant that I could not find the anger in myself to direct at bad updates. Very metaphorical.

I'd like it changed so I can choose perspective before advancing to turn 1.

It's had to watch a game with fog up and not know where both players started currently.

To be fair, it's a new feature. It might simply be that Fizzer hasn't got around to making the history go to previous turn rather than turn 1. Calm your tits people! Be glad he's at least developing things!

A reworking of the history is probably so he can add in the "show all" and "players' perspectives" but these things take time to work out the bugs. Chillax!

I don't see anyone being really uptight about it. I was simply acknowledging that the first turn in history is flawed, and that's something that should be fixed.

One thing that slightly annoys me is the crowd that shows up at any thread to take everything as aimless whining and personal attacks against beloved Fizzer and his divine decision-making, and not actually contributing to the discussion.

Now, there's really no reason that the first turn shouldn't show up in history. It was a mistake, I get that. And I am faithful that Fizzer will correct it.

What we can't do is never point out any problems ever. We can't act like everything done by the development here is automatically superior and perfect in every way. Without feedback, who's going to know what's wrong? Nothing will be fixed.

Showing the way the map started is much more useful IMO, I often use the history to check where wastelands are and what territories were starting spots in a random warlords setup and now that only takes a single click of "home" to toggle. Much cleaner than a free floating text box, too.

I'm confused about what this thread is about. When I go to history (On my macbook, at least), it goes to the last turn, not the first turn. Perhaps might it be because I go to the history by clicking the back arrow on my keyboard?

maybe there are settings to change it but at me it starts with the complete first turn (like you click directly after the turn on 'show all'). Maybe you think because of this that you can't see the first turn anymore because it doesn't happen anything if you click on the '>' button. BUt you can click on the first order in the list on the right and then it works to click '>'

I hope i could solve your problem .

I'll explain further because everyone seems to be confused.

What I mean is, history starts with the end of the first turn and when you hit 'play' it shows the transition from turn 1 to turn 2. Turn 0 to turn 1 isn't visible anymore.

It's a minor annoyance at best, but still a flaw that should be fixed.

I prefer first turn. I want to see the map without fog, so I can double check wastelands, pick spots, etc.

Seeing the previous turn is a waste unless you hit skip and did not watch it.

First turn in old history looked something like this:

Picks are shown, then the process of them expanding from their picks is shown within one turn.

Current version just shows what already happened in the first turn and there's no way to watch it. Of course you can break it down in the list of orders, but that isn't as fun as watching it.

I would also like to see a "hide orders for every turn" feature.
