just finished to watch it, yeah it was a bit odd, I thought Stannis would be nicer than that...

desperate king is desperate, can't wait to see what the sacrifice will bring them, a big load of more snow and nothing else i reckon. don't think there will be any support coming from the night's watch atleast.

The books are great!

They're pretty long with about 500 pages a book.

I'm not really sure how old they are but I think they were published around the early 20s.

I haven't watched the show so I can't tell you major differences between the two.

the first book was published in 96.

they are pretty thick but well worth reading. very easy to fall into reading just one more chapter.

actually the total length is around 4.5k pages.
