Interesting. Given that sharia is based on the Quran and the vast majority of its legal concepts were developed in the golden age of islam, this is quite progressive, having cars in the 7th to 13th centuries.

Aside from that, the most radical and backward form of Islam and sharia law is found in the country the USA supports the most. The country that is best friends with Israel: Saudi Arabia. Unrechtsstaaten get along with each other quite fine.
Interesting, but next time you make a comment myhand, examine that I neither said it was fact or fiction. I only posted a few things under the title sharia law. When asked what the purpose of the thread was, "do with it what you will" was my only statement. Why, for all you know this was entirely set up to make a flame war, maybe it was looking for advice on an article I'm writing. You had insufficient evidence to assume to know what I was trying to convey with this thread.
