I just started a Youtube series called 10-Second WarLight games. The idea is to take an entire WarLight game, full of alliances, truces, betrayal and deceit, and condense it down to a 10-second video for your viewing pleasure.

cute idea, would have made it a little longer though, 10 seconds is slightly too fast imho.

would be cool to see this for team games, but would be confusing unless you change team members colors to different shades of the same color.

Really cool idea, I agree with PS, I think 20-30 secs would be better. Or more than one game on each video, they could be montages instead. The big diplomacy maps definitely seem to be the best in this type of video. You should get people to post there best and longest ones.

I couldn't agree more. It's been mentioned before, including by me. For now, you'll just have to use your imagination and think about what they are seeing.

Also, I would like to analyze some games this summer. The reason I haven't done more in the past is because few players seem interested in analysis; they'd rather just play and not analyze.

But In all seriousness, I think it's a good idea. What if you reenacted some real wars too? (For example do a video on WWI, etc.)

if i had some time i would do a weekly streamcast to go over a couple games with guests. but time is scarce lately.

Just a suggestion, but there should be a playlist of these on the youtube channel so they can be watched all in a row instead of it taking longer to find the next one than the video actually is.

Also you could show some of the settings in the game, because most people care more about the settings and less about the players.

Would be nice to make 'help videos'. I get a lot of players asking me how to make "favorite" games or tournaments. It would also be neat if there wa a weekly/monthly video.... idk what kind but it should be released on a regular basis to show professionalism and consistency!
