That game in its complete form costs $250~. Wtf no.

CK2 is far worse in terms of DLC. Also, only the major expansions are essential to the game, and everything else is simply cosmetic.

If I recall correctly the only worthwhile DLCs are:

Wealth of Nations
Res Publica
Art of War
El Dorado

As for what I think. Great game, but it doesn't specialize in anything so I got bored quick, however, the multiplayer can be a blast. I prefer victoria and hearts of iron series more.

None of the DLC are essential, I played the game for along time with no DLC and only recently bought El Dorado.

I've tried playing hearts of iron iii. I get slaughtered every time though. Give me steam id and tutor me?

EU III with magna mundi mod > EU IV

I usually play as the Ottomans and screw around in Europe like vassalizing the Pope, converting Spain to Sunni (If I have the Chance) or converting to Orthodox and become the Emperor in the HRE
