honestly most religions are really pretty good. The problem has always been how people use their religions.

I have read the Quran, Bible (old and New) and some of the Torah (from which the Old Testament of bible comes), and while the original religions (all three) were bloodthirsty, things changed with the advent of Jesus and Mohammed. Islam at least teaches religious tolerance, as does modern christianity (Catholics beware of being left behind!)

Did any of you by chance know that the historychannel made a series about battles in the bible? I think it was kinda good

It was kind of crappy as far as modeling battles goes and i remember on a special occasion that they said Moses was some military commander. I wasn't sure if i wanted to laugh or be intrigued. There was hardly any Rome though, and they barely discussed encirclements when brought up beyond "it was claustrophobic". It could never hold up to deadliest warrior or the national treasure that is shark week.

That description of christianity really sounds like islam to me. Only difference is that christians don't kill people in the name of their religion anymore.
