I seldom visit the forums anymore, but now that the multiplayer tab layout has changed (to my dismay) I see all the recent forum posts. Almost. Every. Single. One. Is an argument. Although trolls love to start arguments or join them, not all players like that.

This was just a random idea I had come up with in 30 seconds. You can give players points on their forum posts which adds to their "reputation." Then, when creating a thread and if you have a high enough score, you can set "prerequisites" so that only players with a high enough Forum Reputation Score may reply.

Unfortunately, so many players have alts, so the point system could be cheated, but perhaps you would need a certain score to rate posts?

It's up to you guys to decide.

Hmm, this wouldn't really work, in my opinion.

Players like Myhand and Ottoman aren't what you'd call trolls, but because the majority of the players on here are American and the number of posts the two aforementioned players make that are critical of the US are quite high, they would undoubtedly have a bad reputation, despite being great additions to the forum.

On top of that, the irritation one would get from not being allowed to post on a thread they would like to, would leave the player with a negative experience, which is something Fizzer wants to avoid at all costs.

The best option is to ignore the Off-Topic Section, if that kind of content bothers you. I mean, it's not any worse than pop-ups or ads.

If you visit the Politics discussion section on Reddit, one of the house rules for 'downvoting' is to 'vote based on quality (of content), not opinion.' I'm not sure if that actually works though.

I vary topics. He WILL NOT SHUT UP ABOUT THE US. I think that there are many, MANY things that could be improved in the US (an obvious example is I do not support the death penalty). But there are other subjects!!
Although a US thread would be a nice break from homosexuality threads.

Myhndisonfire is interesting though, at best you have mild comedic value. Most of your posts are gifs and memes. Hardly very varied.

I hate myhand's political opinions, but his threads are usually somewhat interesting and informative before thomas, colonel et al start posting.

It seems to work on some forums, but the community here is just to set in its ways on the forum that even Fizzer hasn't tried to change this part of the game... yet. However, I think it is best to just ignore people who are not even trolls in a fun sense, they merely exist to bother. I think if anything, blacklists should carry over into the forums and topics started by someone you blacklist simply do not appear unless you want them too. Easily implemented with a simple "Show topics by those I blacklisted" button. not unlike the one to see their chats in game.

Suprisingly a lot of trolls don't want to be dissed (like me) so much. Also considering how much PS hates Eklipse for example it would take about one second for his reputation to be s*** for no reason

I kind of like this idea, except for the points should have no actual meaning. Just have the points displayed right below the person's level so everyone can see.

this would encourage trolls not to be trolls , and with some forums it is very hard to raise repuation once dropped so trolls forever be trolls.

Its to easy to cheat the system we cant do stuff like this until they ban alts (please don't)
