To everyone complaining about the forums, please stop. You constantly complain about how people spam the forums. I think the irony is lost on you because you guys always spam the forums and derail threads with your constant badgering for forum alterations. Fizzer said it himself today in a post - just because you don't like the content in posts doesn't mean the forums need to be changed. I think Fizzer does a very commendable job moderating the forums. Pooncrew said it best earlier - it's really just the same 50 people posting on here and I think we're all just getting tired of eachothers routines, we need some fresh faces in the forums. How do we accomplish that? I'm not sure. Chris cum is the worst offender of forum change advocation but he is definelty not the only offender. I politely ask that you refrain from hypocritacly spamming the forums with the same tired arguments. Fizzer is never going to let anyone on here moderate - for instance if someone like MrCherry were to be allowed to be a moderator for the forums he would act subjectively and probably delete all of Pooncrews posts because he has a picture of a roast beef sandwich as his profile pic...regardless of whether or not his posts were relevant or constructive. Fizzer knows better than to give us monsters any power. Serious responses only - thank you in advance.

Ps - I am very much aware of the irony in making a thread dedicated towards complainers when I am complaining myself, but it needs to be said, it's getting out of control.

Swallows, new faces pop up all the time. Your clan is still relatively new. The forum changes in people and topics about every year / half-year. It only seems this way because you aren't used to the rhythm that is the forums,and that the forum's lesser topics have been amplified 10x.

People are mostly upset because of Clan drama and stupid debates, but that stuff's been around for awhile . It's just been comedic or short-lived. Nowadays, we have 10 page debates on what used to be rap battles and positive comments of the same subjects.

More moderators is unnecessary. More self-control, more newcomer-friendly and less pack mentality is all the forum posters need.

Tl;dr You're a noob, and you should feel like a noob.

P.s. you should dive into the early forums, from about 3-4 years ago to see what i mean.

Edit : If you want to see a forum that is truly diverse and et al, 2009 - 2011 Forum is where you should look.

I like to call that the " Unorganized Period ". 2011 - 2013 is what i like to call the " Renaissance ". 2013-2015 is pretty much the " Contemporary ". Most modern Forum posters, like x, rp clan, sze and myhand appeared in renaissance. A lot of forgotten but people with the same strategic ideals of today are found in unorganized, a forum true to warlight's intentional themes. Contemporary is a clash of the Renaissance posters with newer posters, from after the 2.0 clans update and with intensified vigor after 3.0 coins. Forums have changed greatly if you care to look, in ways that still surprise an "Ancient Forum" lurker like myself.

The forum changes everyday , gradually , if you would care to look at the very beginning of this forum , you would notice it has changed a lot. your clan is fairly new so you are not used to pattern sways in the forum yet .

I miss Gui's posts.

Thank you all for your feedback, I agree a lot of the times particular threads get muddled with a lot of drama and arguments that tend to derail the topic altogether. I'll have to take a look at the earlier stuff and hope that the forums continue to improve in time.

I don't know that many of the forum's active users could be effective mods anyway. I could see a lot of posts, no matter how constructive, getting removed because the mod had something personal against the poster. And that's not good for anyone.

For now, I think the current system works, the onus is just on us to make sure that what we are posting is relevant and useful (off-topic forum notwithstanding, since that's the place anyone can start a non warlight discussion).

I think you guys missed her main point, she was just pointing out that people are complaining way too much about the forums. I like how chris cmu complains about how tyrion lannister started an anti homophobic thread and his only complaint was that it should go in the previous anti homophobic thread to reduce forum clutter. Not that its a bigoted statement and shouldnt be posted anywhere!

Wtf is with bashing me? I told you I am staying out of political arguments because they are pointless. And why should I say he cannot post a bigotted statement? As Fizzer said it is not against the rules, whether I hate the comments or not. That is why I am simply advocating to keep these bad discussions contained to a single thread so those of us who want to avoid the gutter can

Chris: ignore them, as i have said in the past they are just trolls. The fact that they want to include respected members of the community such as yourself provides even more evidence of this.

It's the same reason they don't want change on the forums. They know that they couldn't treat people in such a nasty yet smart way if things were more organised and regulated here.

Changing the forums wouldnt effect how I post in anyway because I only post constructive and relevant topics. I dont spam the forums with hate and badgering.

I don't bash your clan. In fact I've said you could be nice people. I've bashed your clans image and the picture PC has as his personal picture (Because it looks like a vagina in the thumbnail, no way around it, several people have pointed this out).

As I've said, you guys are smart, you know how to cause negative reactions and troll without breaking the rules which is why things need to be changed here.

Change your picture, change your names, watch you get respect as members of the community. The fact that you refuse to do this shows that you want to cause a negative reaction instead of being respected.

Now someone should lock this thread. It's pointless.

I think the majority of people on warlight do respect us, because they don't judge us on whether or not we have a sandwich as a picture. Its just a vocal minority on the forums that try to bash us. The way people treat us on the forums as opposed to the actual game chats is night and day.

If you look at that picture of food and see a vagina I don't know what to tell you. No way that looks like a vagina.

If anything it kinda looks like Botticcelli's Birth of Venus in the thumbnail.
