When matchmaking, clan wars now blends your clan’s war rating with your clan’s current position in the leaderboard for that season. (How exactly, what are the weights?)
Fizzer showed some code on stream (

Clan war free wins now give slightly more rating boost. (how slight?)
The Free Win rating increase when you get one went from +1 to +2.
What do you expect to get from these changes?
The point of this change is to make top clans get matched up with each other more often, and have people at the bottom fight each other more often too. This is the right thing to do because it is a competition, so you should be fighting people that are on the same level in the competition.

Recordings are posted to Youtube, the streams are on Twitch. I don't know why Youtube would be better than Twitch for streaming. If there is a compelling reason, Fizzer would like to know that reason. Currently, the streams have a lot of momentum on Twitch, so that is working fine.
Would you be willing to go over the user data for the past few years in a broad sense for the number of active users, signing in weekly, verse monthly, and yearly. Along with any general trends you see? I think site usage is down, is that correct or just me imagining it?
Fizzer doesn't keep track of any of that data, so he doesn't know.
where do you see clans going in the future, do you plan to force all clans to have size limits?
Fizzer has no plans on forcing such a limit at the moment. He doesn't know where he sees clans going in the future, but he would like to add more features to them, since clans are a solid concept.

What is something you would really like to add to Warzone one day or another?
To minimize the amount of work that someone has to do to play Warzone, streamline the new player experience. Right now you have to install an app to play Warzone, which generates a lot of friction: going to the app store, possibly being asked to input payment details, wait for it to install, etc. Sometimes people don't have permission to install apps at all.
So I would like to make it possible to play Warzone on a mobile device without having to install an app. Most of the work 3D rendering implemented on browser is designed to work on mobile browsers. It doesn't quite work well yet, but Fizzer wants to fix that.
Along with that, he also wants to streamline the flow of getting into a game, so its really easy to invite some friends and just start playing.

Fizzer is not a big fan of that idea. The idea of any competition is not to get different winners or spread rewards. It is about accurately measuring the skill level of players. Sometimes we change the algorithm, that is not to hurt people just because their are winning, but to more accurately create a fair competition. The number one clan has won so many times in a row because they are just better at the game. The way to beat them is to get better yourself.
With the power of hindsight, do you think having a separate idle app was a good idea?
Fizzer thinks this was a good idea. While the normal app has everything and the Idle app has almost everything, the Idle app starts you in Idle while the normal app starts you in Warzone. The danger of having one app for two games is that you end up only appealing to the subset of people that like both games. So the Idle only app is really aimed at people that just want to play Idle games and do not like normal Warzone.
Are you able to convince enough idle players to start playing WZ (outside of the arena games)?
Fizzer doesn't track analytics for this. But in the Idle app, normal Warzone is explained too, and there is a little button that tells you to download the normal app.
