Religious people traditionally have been more intelligent than most, in the middle ages the only literate class of people were the monks and priests . And the "Father of genetics" was a monk by the name of Gregor Mendal.

Yeah...too bad we are not in the middle-ages anymore, when religion had all the money and power. Now that most people have access to education, it doesn't get better for religion now does it?
On the other hand, there is some fairly recent studies out there contradicting you middle-age example on the topic of religion and intellect. I don't particularly give much credit to these studies, i know there is a few intelligent religious people out there, but here it is:

So you probably need to think more about your explanation rather than taking your explanation for granted and imposing it on a world whose evidence conflicts with it. That is how science works, at least.
I'm not really going to bother explaining how genes work here as I guess it shouldn't really be necessary to see how this is wrong. Maybe I should just point to the fact that there are ants that don't reproduce but are still allowed to exist by evolution.

No. LGBTs being able to live how they want doesn't lead to bestiality being legalized any more than letting heterosexuals have sex does it.

- Forcing others to stop discriminating against them isn't imposing their lifestyle. You don't have to actually live an LGBT "lifestyle" to avoid discriminating against others or trying to ristrict what they can do with things that in no way affect you.

Tupac, that's more of a classism thing than a religious thing. The church in middle-ages Europe had strong political power, therefore those involved politically in the church were allowed to learn reading and writing. Those were mainly men too. It's less about practicing religion and more about those born into a favorable seat within the church's construct.

But this is getting way past the point here. The discrimination against LGBT+ people began to escalate with the evangelical christian extremists trying to press their world views into the eyes of politics. Again, noting laws throughout history, many cultures pre-christianity had rights protecting LGBT people or even celebrating them. Christianity brought persecution to not only LGBT people but anyone they didn't agree with. Politicians today still use LGBT rights as a point to push voters in one direction or another. They use fear mongering to control and misinform voters to gain power.

Do yourselves a favor and read up on these things. It'll help to recognize when you're the ones being brainwashed into believing something is bad when it actually is harmless. Practice empathy and learn to understand people different than you. You'll find things are a lot less stressful and harsh when you don't use aggression as your main defense mechanism when you're confused.

And as a side note: transgender rights and gay rights aren't the same thing, so when you say "anti-gay", that's being exclusive to the gay side of LGBT only. It's very common for people to cast away the "B" and "T" of the acronym because they don't understand it.

I'm Catholic, and I believe in a God who doesn't send to Hell someone just for being gay, lesbian, or whatever. I have known many religious people, and most of them (excepting those ones who grown under the Dictatorship) don't hate LGBT. I think that a God who knows everything must be also tolerant towards everyone.

Firstly, in response to the Catholic, my entire extended family, save a few more sane Protestants, are Catholic. Both my parents were born and raised into Catholic families. Catholicism isn't really something you believe in, it's something you vaguely remember you were born into. Catholics don't know anything.

As for your IQ, even if it were 150, it is irrelevant to a scientifique study. A sample of 1 doesn't make a very good case for a scientific argument, it neither prove nor disprove anything. The result of data analisys of 63 studies over 80 years conclude that (i have to quote here since you probably didn't read the article)
"on average, non-believers scored higher than religious people on intelligence tests",
and also
"The findings pertain to the average intelligence of religious and non-religious people, but they don't necessarily apply to any single person. Knowing that a person is religious would not lead me to bet any money on whether or not the person is intelligent."

As for you personnal view on LGBT, it doesn't really matter to me, every religious person chooses what matter to them in the book. However, here is what the book says about homosexuality (a sample):

"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." (leviticus chap18)

"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."(leviticus chap20)

"...and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them,"
(Romans 1:32)

So i am glad that there is christians out there that chooses to ignore or somehow manage to find an interpretation of the bible in line with modern values. I said that the Bible promotes fucked up values
(self explanatory), and that the people following these values are stupid. But thankfully the majority of christians don't follow the Bible.(either because they haven't read the Bible, or because they are decent persons and choses to ignore it)

How do you know all the homosexual actions are rape yet presumably not all the heterosexual ones?
Just going with one example, where a female penguin laid two eggs from two different mates before abandoning them and finding a third mate, the eggs were then given to a couple of male penguins who had been a couple for years in the zoo. I guess if they had no feelings for each other and it was just rape they would've probably abandoned each other.

Gay Marriage is fun to talk about and all, but can we talk about the real issue at hand? Bicyclists on city and highway roads, that either don't use the provided lane, or weave in and out of traffic, or have gusto to use sidewalks as a freaking speed track.
