Congratulations to Rufus for winning again, turns out this guy is actually good! Congrats also to adrenaline, who becomes the first player with several runner-up finishes! Honorable mention goes out to alexclusive, who was loftily defeated in the first round.

The number of runner-up finishes is counted behind the slash. For the ranking, generally, the number of wins will be considered; only the ranking of players without any wins or an equal number of wins will be based on the number of runner-up finishes.

For example: A player with 6 runner-up finishes will be ranked ahead of a player with 5 runner-up finishes, but behind a player with 1 win.

This statistic is intended to be updated after every tournament in a new post. Inform me about any errors or lacking data. In the event that there will be a yearly final tournament among the best winners, this ranking will be used to determine who qualifies.

In case of a tie, the most recent winner will be preferred. There will never be two players with the same rank. For players without any win, the recency of the last runner-up finish decides.

Brief info: The 16th Titled Tuesday tournament (the one after next one) on May 20th will be created by stefano36000, who is kind enough to replace me once again.

I will likely be completely unavailable on that day, so reach out to stefano if you need to. I appreciate your understanding that the update of the leaderboard might be delayed by a day or two.

Interview 1: Eraserhead (5/1) (Rank 1)

I would like to introduce a new category of Titled Tuesdays content: Interviews with winners! For the first one, it has been a natural choice to talk to the first rank of the leaderboard, our very own Eraserhead (don’t ask me, read more about the name below)!

Q1: Thank you for taking this interview, Rufus! You are, and for the longest time have been, the Supreme Leader of the TT Leaderboard. However, you are also the only repeated winner who has never won a tournament on a template they picked. Are you picking the wrong templates?

Thank you for having me here. Whenever I’ve picked a template for TT, I wanted it to be either relatively short in terms of average speed or quite enjoyable for others. I guess that was my mistake for 4 times in a row. I should have chose where I feel the best!

Q2: You have now chosen Great Lakes, a template you have described in the past as most strategic. Do you expect to break the Rufus curse in this way?

Funny how you say about Rufus curse when I just renamed myself to Eraserhead. That may do the trick. But yes, I am looking forward to compete on it, I don’t expect it to be easy.

Q3: Good luck with that! As a player, you are known to mostly play MD games, but at high speed. Do you feel like you are at an additional advantage in RT games, because they force other players to match your speed?

For the most part, I can’t tell the difference if they play on more classical templates. But when it comes down to something as niche as Lampuria Swap, then indeed that’s the case. Again, any active/good player has great chances in general, since the patterns are quite old and known.

Q4: Tell the community a fun fact about yourself which you have not shared yet.

A long time ago I’ve used to drift cars for my free time and almost entered a semi-pro level.

Q5: Wow, that's a very unusual one! If you were to choose one most important new feature/update for Warzone, what would it be?

Adopt the chess.com business model. Make a lot of new customisations and some courses. The game has so much potential even without reaching for esport adaptation, which would be even more crazier.

Q6: Thank you! My final, but most important question: What is an Eraserhead, and why are you one?

The name is based on D. Lynch’s (who passed away very recently) film called Eraserhead. And if by any chance you are familiar with his work, then you’d know how bizarrely he saw the world of cinema and life itself. I believe with Eraserhead as his first full-length picture, he dig deep for years to fully express his inner demons with the rest of us. I greatly respect and somewhat resonate with that.

I appreciate your time, and good luck in the tournament tomorrow!

Congratulations to Photonic Symmetry for entering the eminent group of winners, beating record winner Eraserhead in the final on their very own template! The Rufus curse prevails, and so does the runner-up curse! Special shout-out to the winner for their highly instructive tactics against myself in the semifinals!
