Fizzer's current recommendation is to create games every 10 minutes only so as to not load warlight's servers. If he agrees to relax this requirement, we can set it to any value :)

The error message you see can happen due to the following reasons:
1. The account with which you logged in has not unlocked one of the features used in some template currently on the ladder.
2. The account has not unlocked some map itself
3. You are/have recently logged into the browser with multiple warlight accounts(even if in incognito mode)

If this is because of (3), it can be fixed by clearing the cache and cookies in your browser(for Chrome or Firefox press ctrl+shift+del). another thing to keep in mind is that Warlight's session and this ladder's session are not the same.
this is technically a bug, but I am reluctant to fix it since it kind of discourages alts on the ladder right now, and that can only be a good thing!! However, if this is a deal-breaker for a lot of you, I will look into it

Could you find a multi-attack template for this? In all honesty, it's a seriously under-represented setting in competitive play. If we're gonna have an LD template, we need a MA template too because that makes sense. Other than that, this sounds awesome and I can't wait to try it sometime. Keep up the good work :D

nice effort. i am weary it will fall in disuse like all previous clots seem to have. would be nice to have some sort of CLOT feature list on main dashboard of warlight multiplayer to remind people what CLOT's are publically active.

@Timinatior, You are right about the tournament, there are no good games whatsoever. But at least this means that there will be an obvious difference between nubs and more skilled players. (Although hopefully players don't attack wasteland and stuff, like I did in.... in the final. )

I have never seen a few of those templates. I am curious, why they were chosen?

Also, I agree with Gnuff. Please make a 3v3 Europe one (3 day boot).

I great feature would be(ladder or not) the option to establish a distribution mode(for example 3 picks) where you can pick 1 manual and 2 random picks or vice versa! just like the creator of the temptate likes it...

those templates were brought in for a few reasons
1.they were good yet ignored-promoting them
2.we would like to keep as many templates as possible so that new players learn to play the game and not a particular template
3.if there's a particular template(s) which concensus don't like,it'll be removed/modified

btw, why the gme3 template is called sumo??
make 0 sense, sumo was another map of gui, but great midle east III have never been called in this way

LOL, Greater Middle East is the map for Sumo? No wonder I have never heard of it. I've played that map a fair amount but when I saw Sumo I was like WTF?

I suggest naming them more intuitive things or you will scare off potential players perhaps.

We've been experimenting with EA&O on a different setting, and it will feature in the polls.

It is not possible to create such a template through the UI right now. And any template which a player cannot create, the ladder cannot as well.

The person who introduced me to the map, had the title of Sumo for it. I didn't know about another map called Sumo. I'll change the name to GME when I get home tonight.

Also Gnuffone, can you share a link to the Sumo map?
