You ever feel like everyone loves a certain food, but you just don't get the hype? Let's see who has the strangest. Here are mine:

- Honey (too sweet)
- Ketchup (not necessarily bad, there's just no situation where another condiment isn't better. for example, dip your fries in ranch dressing. you can thank me later)
- Blue cheese (team ranch all day every day. blue cheese crumbles are especially gag-inducing)
- Cheese pizza (honestly, how can anyone prefer plain cheese? BORING! plus there's no cheese pizza in the world that isn't better with pepperoni)
- Olives (especially bad when you order a salad that comes with olives and have to spend 20 minutes picking them out)

What are yours?

seafood. i hate it all. im not allergic or anything, it's just super gross to me, and it leaves me a little out of touch with the rest of humanity.

mushrooms. i don't think fungus was meant to be ingested. also, i don't think it originated on earth. it is alien and when you ingest it it sits in your colon and controls you like a puppet. this is how the aliens are taking over.

and blue cheese is moldy cheese. that blue cheese flavor? that's mold flavor, and you can replicate it by leaving food out for a few days. then you can sprinkle it on your salad and save some money.

If we're allowing drinks as well, then it's tea and coffee.

Edit: Also, there is no such thing as 'too sweet'.

for my overrated foods I guess I should put:
Chicken Wings(Spicy foods are completely unnecessary as are the fact you eat with y our hands. We've had forks for a few centuries now I think its time to move on)
Chocolate Ice Cream: Just, just, Vanilla is wayyy better
Swedish Fish: just ew.

Well, mine might be REALLY specific...

-Fish (hate 'em all)
-Peppers (any, I just... can't stand them)
-Peanuts (is that edible?)
-Butter (pure fat)

Overrated foods?

-Mushrooms

I agree with shyb. Cannot stand seafood.

Coffee - I am in an American middle school. Starbucks is the worst coffee for your body ever made.

Ketchup - Gotta agree with QB on that one.

Chocolate and Chocolate-based candy - Too sweet.

I agree on some of these. I hate seafood and mushrooms taste the way my basement smells.The thing I hate the most is mayonnaise and anything that has mayo in it. I actually use the word mayonnaise as a curse word and ranch is just dressed up mayo.

I think it depends more on how good your parents and fast food chains are at actually cooking these things

I think seafood has a lot to do with where you're eating it. I'm a native New Englander so I'm used to great, fresh seafood. I definitely wouldn't eat seafood anywhere that's not close to the ocean. That being said, I'm more of a shellfish guy. Lobster, shrimp, clam chowder, and you can't beat raw oysters on the half shell.

Benjamin, usually I'm rock flag and eagle through and through. But we have chocolate all wrong. European chocolatiers use milk as the main ingredient (as opposed to sugar that's used as the main ingredient in America). It's much better if you ask me, especially if you don't like sweet foods.

Caesar I'm with you on team vanilla but spicy food, especially buffalo wings, are a staple of my diet. Can't beat a nice big plate of hot wings on a football Sunday, and I put hot sauce on everything.

Anyway, don't you guys dare insult mushrooms! They are awesome, you can't eat them too much though since their taste is intense and you'd rather use them as an add-on than a principal meal.

and for me I think the most overrated food would be deconstructed food. what is the point of ripping something into its separate elements and flinging them around on a plate?

Also, Belgian Chocolate, putting the word 'Belgian' before the word 'chocolate' is just an excuse to charge 6 times as much money.
