I'd like to do that, Lionheart, but there just isn't enough room. The thing is with map making is that there's a limit on the dimensions of the Inkscape file, so I can't just make it as big as I want. Plus Persia didn't take an active role in the 30 Years' War as far as I'm aware, which is what this map is based on. I will be abe to include parts on India though, because Europeans had colonies there.

Are you guys happy with the way I'm doing the colonial theaters? If you have any suggestions, it would be nice to hear them.

Yeah the brackets are pretty nicely done. Maybe just write what is in the brackets, otherwise it's fine.

I noticed many Spanish cities wrong:

-Albacete (not Albacte)
-Murcia (not Murica)
-Guadalajara (not Guadaljara)
-Sant Vicent del Raspeig (not Sant Vivent del Raspeig)

And also other cities in wrong places, like most you wrote in Kingdom of Aragon (Soria, Zaragoza, Huesca, that although not far from their real places, they could be better). Even you created two Barcelona's, the city and the territory next to it.

So, although it seems it will be a good map, if you corrected that kind of mistakes it'll be one of the best in WarLight /WarZone :)

Thanks, but perhaps you could tell me what those cities should be called, because it's hard to for me to tell any more accurately.

I'm excited about this map! Combines large size (but with no mega landmass :D), cities (one-territory bonuses) and aesthetics (neat borders and careful colour scheme). It also utilises theatres (like in your Spanish succession map) but this time there aren't messy lines everywhere, which I know required a compromise in having naval connections spanning a much greater distance in the real world when closer territories IRL could be used. This could secure you a third front-page (in av rating) map.

I would say make England and Scotland similar coulours. They were pretty unified by that time and right now Scottish colonies look like French colonies.

I agree, maybe make scotland pink or purple or use colours closer to cyan/green.

Edit: p.s. zxctycxz, you forgot to put me in the list of testers

I'll add you, TeeMee. As for Scotland, it was a separate country at the time, it's just that the King of Scotland inherited the English throne, so they were in personal union. Their colonial endeavours remained separate.

Zx,
_was_

Italics may work like that on skype but don't work like that on warlight forums

I think the colonies should go with the megabonuses, like "Dominions of the House Stuart" should include "New England" "English Settlements in the Bahamas" and "English Antilles"

thats cause it was in quotes

This isn't an actual quote, but is technically one. It also doesnt have any underscores in it and is italic because quotes are made italic (using the word quote in square brackets)

_Same as above, but with underscores, and looks the same_

This is normal text
_So is this_

Oh and I noticed your sneaky edit, you must have put [.i] before and [./i] after (ignoring the dots)

And I said I noticed you had edited it, to change it from _was_ to was, and you were implying that it was in italics (coining the phrase 'it looks fine to me' usually meaning that you fully believe it is fine, or in this case in italics) when it actually wasn't, but you had changed it to be so it would look like I was wrong about it not being properly italicized

Indeed, you are wrong. The edit was changing 'England' to 'Scotland' (James I was Scottish).
