Macbook users cannot do the Ctrl+Click command to show the territories to a teammate. I personally think there should be an alternate command for us using Macs.

You got the keys wrong.

For public chat, its Shift + click
For team chat, its Command + Click
For private chat, both are fine.

Mac triumphs Windows when it comes to user friendliness, its faster, simpler, better design in and out. Windows is more compatible however.

You score 3/5 Pulsey. Mac's are simpler and better designed than (im using the laptop Microsoft promotes the most, the Surface Pro 3) the Surface Pro is faster (to use) and more user-friendly due to the touch screen. And of course Windows is more compatible. But Mac's are (at least here) much more expensive than their equivalent Windows laptop/PC, and the value gets worse the further up the range you go (at least in Australia). You can get someone to build you an absolutely brilliant, state of the art tower that is specifially designed for gaming, and that still does work at the same speed as the best Mac PC. And for an identical price.
P.S. Like the new profile photo :)

The keyboard on the Surface 3 Pro is optional, and a quick google tells me it costs around 109 pounds. Add that to the standard i5 option and it becomes as expensive as the Mac, if not more.

Having said that, I still don't see the Surface 3 Pro as in the same group as an MBA anyway, despite how eager Microsoft continually tries to compare them. The Surface 3 pro by itself is just a tablet, like the iPad. My impression is Microsoft is saying that tablet + keyboard = computer, and I don't really agree. I would still insist that the Mac OS is superior to Windows, the layout and the design is simpler, less messy and simply more aesthetically pleasing. Of course these factors are subjective, but thats just what I think.

I don't know much about computers, so I haven't got any technical details, this is all from the personal experience of a normal customer, so I could be ranting about nonsense. :)

Im pretty much the same :)

CAN SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS ABOUT COMPUTERS PLEASE COMMENT

BTW: The reason I hate Mac's so much is we had them as school laptops in Year 6. I was like "Yay, Mac's". But they were:

1. Even when you typed your password correctly, it was 50/50 as to if it would actually accept it.
2. If you kept spamming the enter password button, they would sometimes let you log on without actually putting in a password.
3. They took at least 5 minutes to load the password screen, and another five for you to actually use the computer.
4. Whatever shitty equivalent of Word they had was about as easy to use as flying a brick fired out of a cannon.
5. For the internet, insert problem 1, and they didn't work if you spammed the enter button.
6. They refused to download Chrome.
7. Every two days they lost your bookmarks.

Thomas, those Macs in your school must have been wrecked because they're the most reliable of computers in my experience. My Mac is three years old and it's still far superior to other newer laptops.

The Surface 3 is nothing compared to a Mac; personally I'd rather buy a keyboard for my iPad.

iWork is hard to get used to when you've always used MS Office, but now I'm used to it I would take iWork over other equivalents any day of the weak.

Chrome? Why? Safari works absolutely fine on the Mac; there is no reason at all to download Chrome.

On topic, if you have a Mac, it's worth knowing that Command (cmd) is the equivalent of Control (ctrl). All windows ctrl commands can be performed on a Mac with cmd, be it copy/paste, or in games.

I have a three year old mac too :P its a macbook air and has done everything I would have wanted, except for downloads made only for windows :P I got a windows laptop for christmas, which was called an aspire switch, it cost £499 and was frankly terrible. I figured i would never use it as a tablet, the resolution was rediculously high so that you couldnt actually tap correct buttons if used as a tablet (i eventually found a setting which made stuff bigger, but this buggered up Visual Studio which was one of the main reasons I got it and it and then there was no point in it being able to be high resolution anyway), the trackpad was aweful and too wide, it was heavy and it was windows 8.1, which is the worst operating system i have ever experienced. I happen to have a few friends who are crazy about setting up perfect computers, making them out of lots of parts online, and they hate macs, but thats only because they are experts in computers and dont have to rely on what crappy companies like HP say they should put in them. Most people however are not experts, and can't be bothered to learn how to make their own computers, and for most of these people, I think macs do the job.

By the way, the territory linking in chat commands work for me (command-click and shift-click)

In my opinion, macs are generally worse than windows computers for a large number of reasons, but I have one just for iOS app development. It can't be done on a windows computer but it doesn't justify the ridiculous price tag macs come with.
