A minor update concerning an awesome group C...
GROUP C
Jefferspin (4-2) - WINNER by virtue of tiebreak clusterfuck
Niko (4-2)
Falker (4-2)
Metatron (3-3)
Timinator (2-3)
Marechal Lannes (2-4)
JV (1-4)
Metatron has beaten Niko... but lost to Marechal Lannes, kicking him out of the running for the top 3. And so it's a three way tie at the top, tied further when using head-to-head as a tiebreaker. And so it comes down to the dreaded second tiebreaker...
A tie-breaking tournament then takes place unless all the players involved agree to otherwise settle the tie. Where a tie-breaking tournament would delay the league too much, average turn-speed is rewarded to resolve such ties.
No, damn it, not this one. Fraaaank, you forgot to change the copypasted text! I mean this one:
Both group I's had a tie for 2nd place and in both groups only 2 of the 3 in the tie got promoted. Here's how I resolved it and will continue to do so in the future.
I looked at the players they beat outside the tie, so in group I1 it's:
Bananashake: 5th - 6th - 7th
Master Bjarke: 5th - 6th - 7th
Swimming Potato: 1st - 6th - 7th
I add all of them together and the player with the lowest score win. The Swimming Potato therefor gets number 2 spot since he beat the number 1,6 and 7 (= 14) which is better that 5, 6 and 7 (= 18). Bananashake and Master Bjarke are still tied though so I looked their result against eachother, Master Bjarke beat Bananashake so gets 3th and Bananashake 4th.

...So lets take a look at each player's 3 wins outside their tie
Niko - Timinator, Marechal Lannes, JV
Falker - Timinator, Marechal Lannes, JV
Jefferspin - Metatron, Timinator, JV
Now attention turns to the remaining game in the group, Timinator vs JV, still on turn 9. The winner of this game gets to stay in group C, while the loser places in the bottom 2, which is slated for relegation. Timinator relegate? What a group, huh? Marechal Lannes unfortunately lost to both Timinator and JV, so he can't finish higher than 6th.
But how will this final game affect the tie at the top of the group? If Timinator wins, he will place 4th, above Metatron due to head-to-head, and JV will place last. This gives each player the following points (remember, low score wins!)
Jefferspin - 4 + 5 + 7 = 16
Niko - 4 + 6 + 7 = 17
Falker - 4 + 6 + 7 = 17
If Timinator loses?
Jefferspin - 4 + 6 + 7 = 17
Niko - 5 + 6 + 7 = 18
Falker - 5 + 6 + 7 = 18
What this means is that the winner of group C has already been decided! Congrats to Jefferspin! Niko places 2nd by head-to-head. Therefore, assuming 2 relegation spots, both Falker and Timinator will fail to promote in what ended up being a fiercely competitive group! Who would have bet that at the beginning of the season?
