Johnny’s vengeance? Top 11 all decided now? Prime start the sandbag?



6/27 for Prime today. They have been known to intentionally surrender games at the end of seasons to lower their CW rating. I can’t be bothered to check their games to see if this is the case. Maybe they’re just playing horribly. Someone save me the effort and tell me if they are. Their rating dropped by 76 points today… so mission accomplished, I guess.

Harmony tie their best day this season with 16 wins. No sandbagging for the greatest clan in the world.

Midfield Battle

Yet again, an average performance by all 6 midfield clans.

The top 5 were settled a while ago, but now most Midfield positions are settled too. There have been no changes in the positions since LFA took 6th place from MH 5 days ago. They have only pulled away since.

Really, the only positions that might be in question is 7th/8th and 10th/11th. The gap is 6 wins between MH and FDC in the battle for 7th. It’s 4 wins between M’ship and KEA for 10th.

There were 2 yesterday. How many survived? It’s time for everyone’s second favourite segment!

Matutake:
‘Take faced Textre from Knyte, one of their weakest players, but one with an indomitable spirit. This dude has won just once in his last 24 CommLD games. That means, despite continuous defeats on a template he’s outclassed on, he brushes himself off, grips his weapon harder and charges back in. To me, that’s truly inspirational. This time he charged straight at Prime’s champion, won a Peru coin flip and played perfectly to convert and slay a rival clan’s ace. A huge victory for him. One to rival the time he beat Mr Carpenter on S1v1.

Johnny:
John was presented CommLD in the first slot today. He jumped in eagerly and drew Wildcard from TLA. Wildcard is one of the best CommLD specialists outside of MB. In fact, he is the man who ended John’s perfect run on the 16th day last season. Time for Johnny to get his revenge? … Nope. Death. Again.

So both lost today. That means this will be the first time in 3 seasons that we haven’t had a 1 off perfect season. BUT! With the season ending, the battle to be the most successful warrior of S31 has become even feistier. So let’s keep following the players with the most wins.

The disclaimers there were in fact added to the edit, after Texx voiced his concerns about "People are going to think lazy ol’ 5S is the one who spends hours every day writing up a bugle and researching statistics. :)".

What's the easter egg then?
The edit, which was in this current post, actually (unfortunately) caused a huge meltdown (we call that "butthurt") of Texx (he calls himself "TEXX"). And this easter egg is actually a door to that drama (we got tipped some nice leaks, or not. Go ask for details :D Maybe I will reveal them...or not :D).

News of the CW day 1:
- New Season 32 of CW start
- CW Bugle dead (I gave it a lifetime of <1 week, and Texx's clanmates estimated up to 1 month. I was wrong, the Bugle died after less than a season)
- MH ate M1 -> Harmony no more Top-5 (Texx be better invest his hours into Harmony, and not some daily CW trashtalk)

News of the CW day 2:
-The Big 3 dominate the leaderboard.
-MH and H with WR<40%. Is MH effected by the new guys from former M team? Harmony is just having some lower performance because of weekends?

Now the second edit of old bugle was downvoted too. It happened after today's message from recusant, so the edit got more attention from Texx and team. :( Have Harmony's dolphins turned into sharks? Is Texx still upset? With the bugle still dead, we might never know.

News of the CW day 3:
- Harmony plays more games than MH and even with lower WR manages to outrank MH and get back it's in Top-5. The competition for that last top-5 spot is very close. Even with new recruits from M, MH has just ~21 GpD, which is not enough for top-5
- It has become known that KC had a ghost lock this season, so only 39 players in CW roster for them :(
- Highlight of the day: WarTog's team beats MBs in a 2v2 game!

News of the CW day 4:
- MB have 20 wins lead against Optimum -> very strong take on winning top-1 again
- Prime played 5 games less than any of top-4 today :(
- H and MH are going toe-to-toe

- Seems like CW was shadowed by TR-8R-VV drama. What a remarkable day.
- Opti had 38! games today.
- Harmony and MH abismal winrates <25%

- Top 6 clans are settling with 15+ wins between each other.
- 4 of top 5 clans have 30+ games today!
- Harmony gets ahead of MH. With consistent GpD difference, they will be able to increase the lead

- M'Hunters have 39 people participating in the season for a few days, looks like a ghost lock
- 6 clans reached CW roster cap for the season
