i rolled a 26 out of 90 mods (when the randomizer said before the game should be modded and will have one mod only) and it happened to be this one. I also happen to only roll either no fog or complete fog so far, somehow. It's not by design lol. I would love for those games to have more playable settings, but alas, it rolled the ones it did. and hey, it has surveillance cards which last for 5 turns, and bomb cards in 2 pieces only, maybe that'll help

I will be doing reviews of games eventually, but after they have finished (the two finished ones are too little of a sample size for this kind of game, so I will be waiting for the tournaments I have hosted on the same template to finish first). Then, we will hear all about what strategies people employed, what worked, and why the games were or were not enjoyable to play and/or see the history of. Stay tuned!

The next game will be created next week, as it will be modded again, and I have already created my free modded game this week.

New game is up (I forked out the 4 coin extra fee since it is a 1v1): https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=33976861
It is our first invite only game, since SirSam and Timothy have both contacted me, expressing interest in playing. It's on the Monaco map (10 territories) with Press This Button and Runtime Wastelands mods.

New game up! Game #8 is a 14-way 2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2 with the Reverse Income mod (amongst some others) on the TV remote map (fittingly made by someone named "king of waffles")
https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=34009722
Since it is a large game, the reward is increased to 20 coins. As always, free to join.

Game #7 is over, congratulations to SirSam for winning (and earning 3 coins)!

https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=33976861

It seems like neither player figured out that Runtime Wastelands would be gradually turning all the neutrals in the game to size 0, therefore that you could attack them with any amount just to claim them. That didn't end up mattering however, as two astute uses of the Order Priority card by SirSam (especially the bait on turn 9, the last turn, but the one on turn 6 also saved Sam's income from the assault), as well as Timothy splitting up his forces and SirSam killing them off one by one, made victory possible for SirSam, who came back from behind to win.

Game #5 is also over, congratulations to SirSam and Matpen78 for winning 10 coins! (poor Timothy, on the losing side yet again)

https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=33945037

The first turn was likely the game decider, with EEE.'s commander spawning right next to the border between the two teams, and meanwhile, the opposing teams commanders spawning deep within their territory. EEE. also did not try to run away with the commander, but instead stayed put, didn't deploy as much armies as his opponent (due to wanting to swap territories with his teammate) and therefore got eliminated straight away. Timothy tried as he could, which was made possible by the "better don't fail an attack..." mod, which makes it really punishing to fail an attack, obviously, therefore meaning that Timothy could still, in theory, win on his own if he got the gameplay right, but it is always difficult to see with complete fog, and, as his biggest stack was destroyed deep into enemy territory on turn 10, Timothy was forced to concede defeat.

Game #9 is open! It has multi-attack, commerce, army cap, dense fog, amongst other things. It's a 3 player FFA on the Valle d'Aosta map (74 territories)

https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=34067924

I'm really interested in how this one ends up playing out.

A reminder that games #3 and #8 have no fog and can be spectated freely as they go.

Game #10 is open! I ramped up the reward up to 32 coins since it's an 8v8 and it will be split between 8 players. It is, amongst other things, with the Limited Attacks mod and multi-attack (dunno how that will work but we shall see)

I will once I roll a template that is suitable for one (some mods aren't allowed, and also don't want it to have too many players) and when there's a game on it that has finished so that one can have a test game preview to see how it plays out.

Game #2 is finished, unfortunately no coin reward yet at that point when the game was created. Sorry! Still, congrats to team B! (krinid, Torsten, saxRacer, Prince of Canada and kirckle)

https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=33750750

It's fair to say that team A had a more volatile boot/surrender situation, with Mon Seigneur getting booted and not returning, and güd drifting in and out of the game. The starts ended up being very lopsided, with a lot of players opting for America, and few in Europe, resulting in a straight out battle royale in America, where team B had the advantage (3v2, krinid, saxRacer, and Prince of Canada, who soon turned AI, vs güd and Mon Seigneur) and eventually emerged victorious, whereas Torsten had a safe corner to expand from in the Middle East and could safely build cities, whereas team A's nap had a similar base around Finland, which was nevertheless more vulnerable to attack. V in southwestern Europe was double-teamed by krinid through Iberia and the Atlantic, and kirckle through Italy. That meant only nap was really left, and at that point, the game was already won by team B. The 3 turn surveillance card helped counteract the complete fog, and players had to choose who to play a 100% income 2-turn sanction card on, which was a fun mechanic.

Likely no game till next week because it will be modded again.

Game #11 is open! https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=34107637 It's a 3-way FFA on the Netherlands Population Destiny (sic!) map

Weirdly enough, it rolled almost the same mod settings as #10, somehow, only one mod and it's the Limited Attacks mod again. It also has complete fog and local deployment, amongst other things. No idea how it all will work, but you're free to find out through joining.

Game #9 is finished... congrats to L.L. for winning 9 coins, I guess, but gee, wasn't that ever anti-climactic...

https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=34067924

Ivan0 seemed really confused and looked as if he didn't realize he could simply get rid of the army cap-induced 0 income by killing his own armies, so he just surrendered, even though I would have said he is in the best position to win otherwise (no enemy to fight, while L.L. and Cosine Malady were fighting), so it was really just a 1v1 since Ivan0 had no impact on the game, which L.L. won by reducing Cosine Malady to a single territory, after which Cosine understandably surrendered since the game would like have been lost in the long run, despite the 1x army cap initial obstacle for L.L.
