to give some incentive to new mod makers I am giving away 100 coins to anyone who creates a new mod (tax included)

some requirements:
  • You can only have created less than 3 mods before to have access to this prize
  • your mod must have went public to use (aka you got Fizzer to approve and publish it

Happy Coding!

No requirements for what the mod is/does?

"Less than 3" means someone can create 1, collect 100, create a 2nd (<3), collect 100?

And being fair, let's presume that the mod is "reasonable functionality", not just "press this button (that does nothing) v2" and "press this button (that does nothing) v3".

And are these net new mods, or do mod edits (for reasonable functionality upgrades) count?

Is this time limited?

1. less than 3 before the time of this forum being published

2. Fizzer wouldnt approve mods that do pretty much nothing, im using him as a filter here

3. if it is published as a V2 it counts, it needs to be a reasonably upgrade and not just a grammer change.

4. its until I run out of coins

(the rules are meant to be lax as its nothing serious, just a little extra incentive to at least try out modding.)
(100 may not be much, but again its more about trying to get people to try modding

How many coins you at now? (;

The reason I asked about 'reasonable functionality' is precisely b/c Fizzer approved JK's wonder mod "Press This Button" with description (quoth the raven):
"This mod adds a button that will reduce next turn's income of a player by X% if they do not press the button in their current turn. AI's will not be affected by this mod. Once the game started, you can find the button under Game > Press This Button."

Would you consider that "not nothing"? (;

Leave JK's mod alone, it taught me how to do dialogues.

Surprisingly that mod has more code than others so yes i will accept it

UI is a hard thing to code tbh. JK is scratching the bare minimum tho

LOL
fair enough

I will refrain from slagging JK. Clearly with JK's phenomenal additions to maps (Ugly Shapes) and mods (see above), he truly is a pillar of the community!

also the smaller a mod the better a stepping stone it is for others, and the more mods that are created the more people will use them and the more people who will want to mod (hopefully)
