in your email service, go to the part of the screen that says "delete" or the button with trash can icon then press that button as much as desired when the emails you want to delete are highlighted. Also, be careful to not to do this if you are planning on running for political office.

The only deletion method I know of is asking an admin to delete it, which almost never happens. Since DMs use something similar to the forum system, in the past I've seen DM threads get deleted when an admin deleted all the forum activity of a user. The only time that's happened is when the authors of those threads spammed the forums.

If you're getting unwanted DMs, you can Block the senders (which will prevent future DMs but not replies to old DMs, but you will also not get notified for replies by Blocked players to old DM threads). If they are persistently spamming you, you can (and should) Report them. But if it's just clutter, you're out of luck, sorry.

oh, you want less notifications, not deleting emails. go to settings, then notifications, then in there you can uncheck many boxes that are sending you unwanted emails
