I had shelved this map back in April but have been making quick progress lately and I plan to finish the map. Few could comment on the map's state when the first thread was created but hopefully more will be interested now that the drawing and layout is complete. Oh yeah, there will be bonuses within states (these are already cut out) I just havent gotten around to adding them in yet, so we just have a pretty picture.

what did you come up with for those greenland territories? I can update my colossal earth and fill in greenland if i have names. (I've kind of improved the USA territories to look more appealing but haven't released because I want to fill in greenland.) I'm aware of one territory i can call summit camp and a few other maps actually have some names i can use.

In your map, southern alberta. 2 territories don't connect. I figure you'll catch them when you name them and even when you're testing.

I'm not testing for broken connections yet, as I'm still putting in the bonuses. Also Greenland is based on this map here (which I myself made): https://www.warzone.com/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=73905. So it's based on watersheds along with some arbitrary topography. For the names, I just took random words that describe the land from the Greenlandic language where I couldn't find a name on mapcarta. And, I split territories kind of along where the ice sheet ends and barriered them to stall movement as with mountains and waterways.

I saw that map. You took on a complicated task. There's almost nothing to be known or it's buried beneath piles of internet garbage. Well done.

yeah I mean, think about ridges on the terrain; they slow army movements and make natural territory divisions. Watersheds are the best divisions to use but I also just trace out some areas of topography when the watershed boundaries haven't been mapped completely.
