Well, terry's dropped off the face of the earth since the ban, so until he comes back we can only speculate as to what happened. I'd been trying to contain terry's more controversial behavior to Discord and such so he could enjoy the site proper like a normal person and get away from his personal demons for a bit. It's sad to see the effect this thread has had.

As a general PSA: keep any risky or controversial content off the forums. Your primary audience on the forums is Fizzer (who lurks and sees all), and unlike the rest of the site the forums are aggressively moderated. So this is the digital equivalent of being right in front of the police station. Every time you post on the forums, remember that Fizzer will read what you're typing.

If you have something edgy to say, need to talk about your drugged escapades, or want to share that photo of all the racial slurs you've written on your chair, do it on the MASTER clan Discord. On here, be professional so you can claim the moral high ground on bad speak and crippling substance abuse.

I'm clearly not new to the internet nor gullible, as Nauz noted, so I wouldn't be claiming it if it weren't true. Terry got banned on his old account, at which point he got another chance to return on Jirai. Jirai got permabanned, at which point Terry was too embarrassed to appeal the ban because that was already his "another chance." I saw correspondence between the two because I was involved in the unban appeal. While it's possible that Terry may have faked the Fizzer side of that conversation (which confirms that Terry had been allowed to return on Jirai but lost his original account permanently as punishment), it's improbable because:

1) Jirai reached out to Fizzer with an unban appeal (which I workshopped for Terry, originally it was all over the place) asking for yet another chance and renewing his vow (a condition of his initial permitted ban evasion) to stay off of GC.
2) Terry is generally bad at hiding information (or rather, he doesn't try). As berdan knows, I have a lot of information on Terry.

Sure, you might not believe me, but some points to that:
1) Fizzer permabanning people on some accounts but allowing them to "evade" the permaban on others is not unheard of. For example, I'm permabanned on another account. JK_3, AI, and many others are too. The case where he permabans people on their main account and then allows them to a short leash is rarer, but Shredtail2, Semice, and others can speak to that.
2) Fizzer had been aware of terry cloth returning as Jirai Gumo. Max Scherzer alerted Fizzer almost immediately when Jirai showed up. Jirai Gumo had been allowed to remain.
3) At the very least, it's public knowledge that Jirai was permabanned, then allowed to return. You'll have to trust me/my sources that, during this process, Fizzer was aware that Jirai was terry, but the rest of this is clear-cut.
4) Terry made no attempt to hide Jirai being him. (Even beyond that, he signs his messages to Fizzer with his real name, which I have been able to confirm is actually him.)

So this isn't just me taking Terry's claims at face value.

I asked a tier 2 mod a about it a while ago and chances are won’t be unbanned

Thanks, Dan. It seems terry has dropped off the face of the earth completely so I don't think he'll be requesting a ban appeal soon.

Do you know what he got banned for, though? Was it for posting on this thread?

Keep in mind that this is regarding his first account and his ban in 2021. This was indeed when he sent me my daily death threats, and that was partly what got him banned. His new account that got banned recently has not harassed me, nor have I filed any complaint or report against him.

ZombieSlayer said Jirai sent him a highly offensive mail including personally insulting calling him [censored word] (poop) because ZS had posted an Alicia Keys song and apparently (Terry?) hates her. You can ask ZS for the exact quote as I don't have it

I was around for the Alicia Keys discussion in GC ... something along the lines of "anyone who listens to AK is an idiot". Maybe my memory filter is not accurately recalling the details though, but didn't seem ban-worthy, but sounds like there was PM activity beyond that which sounds like it may have been what pushed it over the line.

The Alicia Keys thing was related to the second ban (for "offensive language in Global Chat") but the current ban message simply states it's for using an alt to evade a suspension. Looks like the forum post did him in. (Another gentle reminder to stop creating forum threads about sensitive topics. Expect Fizzer to read every word. Lightning, you should've discussed the topic somewhere else before bringing it up here- the forum is practically the same as creating a DM thread with Fizzer. No one ever got banned from Warlight for what they say on Discord, so use a safer platform. Not blaming you- it's ultimately Terry's fault for showing up on the thread- just saying this can of worms could've been kept closed and we'd all have been better off for it. Until this thread, Terry had stuck to his outlet on Discord where he'd been explaining elementary chemistry to Mikey instead of being beyond rude to strangers. We were so close to a healthy stable state where Terry could play the game without doing anything rash, and I'm sad that fell apart.)

Alicia Keys was weird. Seems like ZS responded to Terry's criticism of AK with something Terry understood as being called racist for not liking her, and it escalated from there. So it went further than what krinid saw and went on for days and I'm sure Terry said some weird, rude, maybe even scary stuff then.

Either way, Terry's actually gone-gone now.

So congrats to his haters, condolences to the ones he harassed, and for the rest of us, let's pour one out for the guy with the glorious jawline who gave good training, great banter, and excellent offers to help us remember together what we had had for lunch. Joking aside, Terry's certainly said and done some stuff that shouldn't be tolerated or overlooked (Farah is grossly understating what Terry sent him). I hope he succeeds this time in moving past and atoning for his behavior.
