This is a very popular personality system! Basically, we just share what we are. Personally, I'm an INTJ, which account for 1-2% of population ( oooh that educated elite status ). Among my ranks are :
Augustus Caesar, Jay-Z, Karl Marx, C.S. Lewis, Chester A. Arthur, Woodrow Wilson, John F. Kennedy, Stephen Hawking, Vladimir Lenin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Heroclitus, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, General Colin Powell, Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, James Cameron, Lance Armstrong, Bobby Fischer, Gary Kasparov, Isaac Asimov and Susan B. Anthony ( because girl power? ).
I've got brilliant generals, great scientists, political philosophers, great warriors, influential leaders and great artists. Enter my vicinity, male sibling.
Your personality prevents you from understanding the quite simple ( but lengthy-ish ) test, or you are prevented from understanding how my personality-type doesn't supposedly reflect your perspective of my intelligence? Elaborate.
Everything I know is wrong, black is white up is down and short is long, and everything I thought was just so important doesn't really matter and ( to reaffirm my prior statement ) everything I know is wrong and I should just forget the words and sing along? All I need to understand is everything I know is wrong?
Comedy aside, I don't see why we can't be allowed to continue taking a faulty test. Many institutions constantly hand out the likes of a faulty test, so why should a personality test be any different?
I took both versions (the one Genghis suggested and the one myhand did) a couple times.
INTJ (~1%) - INFP(~4.5%)
IN are always in the extremes, F-T are split almost down the middle and P-J waver from 60-40 to 40-60, making it the most unstable result.
I took these type of tests (online) when I was younger and I remember that the last one (P-J) have always been unstable, but I was a solid T before and it seems to have shifted to an even split. I've always had extremes in the IN result, though.
In the end, these results can shift drastically over a long period of time. It's easier to judge people who are long dead, since you can compare the words and actions of their entire lives and not just a small window (like we are doing by taking the tests now).
Yes, this is a big reason why the test is constantly deemed unreliable. Your personality changes as your influences change. I.e. you feel like listening to dubstep at one day, the next day you're listening to pop. I hope this tidbit doesn't get criticized and analyzed.
