ok. I will be expounding on this a bit later, but whether or not Arun thinks I'm a likely villager or a likely wolf, I think it's time we had a serious discussion about what exact role Arun's confirmed villager status grants him.

Why do the specials need to contact you asap? What do you plan with the info? By the way any vig's not in aruns cell probably shouldn't contact him BECAUSE later your power might be used against him.

Guys, I just realised that there is actually quite a high probability that the wolves will come after Arun
Also, I did the calculations and it seems that I had been wrong previously about Arun's likely chance of getting targeted.

The original percentage chance of him being targeted was 80%.

The new percentage chance of him being targeted is 3%.

So yeah the summary is that I was way off and I say good luck my friends... or enemies...

You are taking the piss with those percentages right? Anyway, I would say arun is safe at night BECAUSE he is so confusing for the village.

Good. But if you were correct just explain. Genuinely I want to hear it. This game is for the sole purpose of discussion and debate. Dont just say I'm right. Prove it. And definately dont do the 'i will stand down as the bigger man but i was right'. That is so playground and is the most annoying closer ever. If you explain and I agree I will be happy to follow your plan.

Alias. That was a bad move. Villagers, try to look as villagy as possible. Dont give the other villagers any titbits of info that they can mistake as wolfishness or the wolves anything they can latch onto. It makes no sense to bluff being a woof under any circumstance. Just go out there and wolf hunt. Look for inconsistencies in story. Incincere reasoning. Statements and bandwagoning without explanation. Wolfslips. Antintown ideas eg muktilynch.

Anyway hopefully I Dont come across mean or condescending as stupid probably did above. I just really want to play this game and play it logically. Statements are useless without explanation. @his balls. I find Aruns idea very smart. there are x wolves in this game and y specials. If every special contacted Arun, then we definitely know who is not a wolf and who can be trusted. I have not formed an opinion on how long he should keep this information until going public.
If a wolf pretends to be a special by sending a PM, then both claiming to be a special can be killed off. That way, the wolves will definitely die. For one particular villager, it's irrelevant if they die as long as their factio is the last standing. but first, wolves need to be killed. that's the logic I see behind it.

@mayor. You say if every special contacted arun WE will definitely know who is not a wolf. Nope, If arun is smart HE can know all the specials, but that doesnt really help the villagers at all right now because he cant reveal the information to us. I was asking what arun will do with the information once he has it? not can he get it? He can get it, that is obvious.

Also i dont trust arun to separate specials from fake claims. To combat fake claims by wolves you suggest just kill both claimants? We can definitely do a lot better than that. I certainly Dont want specials in our faction to be at the mercy of aruns trust.

And what is the urgency arun?

Long story short given aruns adamancy that a multi lynch is beneficial I Dont trust him to make wise decisions as our de facto leader.

I dont like how the village is handled , dictatorship is too unpredictable and since it is unpretictable it is hard to catch a wolf
. But in order for a dictatorship to work the leader must know everyones roles .

@hisballs: I think the strategy is the best we have so far. The seer can confirm a wolve or village, tell Arun who in return can tell us who to kill if the seer gives him the name of a wolf. The identity of the seer is not revealed. Maybe the strategy can be changed in the way that if two or more claim to be a seer, then Arun can find out who tells the truth. How? If a seer gives the name of a "wolve" who turns out to be a villager, then that claimed "seer" is a wolve and shall be killed. if the seer is right, he can be trusted. I cannot find a flaw in that plan and since we know arun is a villager, we can trust him when he says "the seer contacted me XYZ is a wolf, vote for him"

Mayor, this strategy can of course be exploited by wolves. However I have ways of finding true specials.

His Balls, Dr. stupid, not long before the lynch (which had low risk for him, actually) gave me a detailed description of his thoughts. I'm leaning towards him being a villager.

Specials should contact me. Don't be ridiculous because you'll make yourself look like a wolf. We need coordination to root out the wolves.
