1.) I have In-App Notifications for blog posts enabled and if I click on Notifications, I see the notification for the new blog entry, but I haven't got the blinking Mail-Icon when refreshing the forum page but I saw your forum post. Is there something wrong here or how could that happen?

2.) Given that you can only keep two artifacts in the beginning and unlocking to keep more is really time consuming, I don't really see a reason to lower the artifact level on Hardened CCC (to be clear, I can see potential arguments for this change, super ascend just isn't one of them). For the same reason you could have lowered it to rare, or poor even. But other than that, I can see why/how this might bring back the fun for more advanced players. And make idle battles easier occasionally when some of the strong players are back to square one for a short period of time.

PS: How does super ascending affect idle challenges? Are they reset, too (in order to collect the rewards anew)?
PPS: Are powers reset? I mean the power locations on the maps, not your collected ones, these stay according to the blog post.

I'm nowhere near far enough into idle to start doing this anyway, but I'm really struggling to see the point.
Any players who actually are deep into phase-4 want to tell me why I'm wrong?

They get new levels and they again have some sort of objective. If you're this far into phase 4, there is nothing more to achieve. So you might just start all over again (more or less). There were similar requests by players in this forum already, so I guess there will be a decent portion of eligible players that might do this.

I'm thinking about the only keeping 2 artifact thing.

Now I have 3 legendary artifacts, 2 epic artifacts, 16 rare artifacts, 8 uncommon artifacts, 18 common artifacts, 10 poor artifacts.

If I just keep 2 legendary artifacts, I'm going to lose a lot of artifact values during super-ascension.

One solution is to wait a while and upgrade something to insane first, and just carry that artifact through super-ascension.

But the problem is that I'm not close to getting an insane artifact either. Probably will take 2 more months or so. So, if I wait for insane before super-ascending, it'll stall my progress.

If someone chooses "Can keep one additional artifact when super ascending" for their first super-ascension, do they keep 2 or keep 3 artifacts in this super-ascension?

lol, I haven't even normal ascended once yet, nor have I gotten to phase 3.

The ones that are kept stay at the same tier they were at before Super Ascending, correct, or do they get reset to poor?

Even though you said the permanent rewards for Super Ascending are stackable, I'm assuming the digging speed bonus uses multiplicative stacking, and thus could never make digging actually instantaneous. The other 3 I'm guessing use additive stacking. Am I right with this?

I still haven't regularly ascended yet but my thoughts on the subject are as follows. If you have two or less legendary artifacts don't choose to keep three. 25% AP boost is more valuable than starting with 100 AP for sure as it scales so much harder and will definitely save time. Artifact dig speed may be a bit of a trap as money becomes the major issue as opposed to time but even then by the time you could afford more artifacts quickly enough you will probably be gearing up to super ascend at that point anyway. Maybe the first few super ascensions get 25% AP throwing in an extra artifact or two and then start getting dig times as levels become easier quicker. I'm also a fan of how this encourages you to get insane artifacts.

I feel like the 100 starting AP option probably needs to be buffed -- I can't see any circumstance (that would be achievable within the next decade, at least) where saving 9% of your armies on Tutorial through JS is worth the tradeoff of +25% AP on all levels

I think super-ascension devalues AP.
If all progress is lost with every SA, then the goal is now to reach 134K AP as fast as possible.
That makes so many Advancements useless.

Sorry Mortar Damage from phase 3, I won't be unlocking you anymore!

Shouldn't you get the legendary Triple Strike if you started the level before the update? I just finished it and only got an epic one :( Great timing...

I am playing on the App so I will now play hard CCC to get Leg. Triple Strike. It should still give Leg Triple Strike if beaten for the first time.

Depends on whether this is a level thing or a game thing. Like it sounds, this is a game thing (otherwise having started before the update would have been enough for kryzelfiz to get a legendary one), so no matter the platform or app version, you will likely only get an epic from now on. But only Fizzer knows ultimately.

PS: But perhaps we could get a compromise that each player will get a legendary before first super ascension, but only epic after first super ascension??? Wouldn't that be the most fair solution for everyone who hasn't finished CCC (hard) yet? And it (probably) would still prevent all the misuse Fizzer was worried about.

PPS: And I'm not sure, if "The Legend" is the correct name for the reward if we are only guaranteed an epic artifact from now on.
