You realize that a better description to clarify what ML is costs no one anything and benefits any who reads it? Not sure how you could compare that to "don't go right, go left: there is a hidden hospital waiting just for you!", they're entirely different aspects. 1 is a core game mechanic that some people will pay real money to use and could be wasted, the other is an intentional facet of the game (fog).

Why would you oppose a change to make the game mechanics clearer to new players?

I do not oppose such things, I just think that the whole discussion is exaggerated. Trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist is not how you make the game better

Given the questions we get in global, there clearly is a problem somewhere. You might argue the problem is with players instead of WZ (like with the QM multiday games, that now even have a popup informing players of the setting to disable MD games).

Updating the ML description doesnt make WZI any better or worse, since its not changing any game mechanics, but just updating the description to something else.

I agree with this statement. But disagree with you on the existence of the problem. It exists. I've experienced it, and I'd bet your paycheque that every new WZI player undergoes the same dilemma.

Anyhow, no one is saying to change how ML operates, just take 90 seconds or so to update the description.
