How is this army production even possible? This screenshot is maybe 15 seconds into the round. Sefer did drop down to "only" 28K armies/sec a bit later so I know he was using an active artifact to boost but what is he doing to get the base production >500% more than me?

Yep, Supercharge Army Camp active artifact.

If you figure out the super zoom on images, let me know... happens to me too. Very annoying.

my guess is that he uses a combination of Money Cache on insane level + Supercharge Army Camp on insane level + maxed auto-upgrade army camps.
The first gives him a lot of money at the beginning, then the game instantly upgrades his camp many levels, then he activates the second artifact on that camp.

The only possibility to have an insane artifact - not to mention 2+ - is if you bought enough legendary artifacts, I doubt that anyone did this but who knows...

And ig that Parsifal refers to money cache cause I also don't see how a resource cache would help. At the early stage of a level it only gives you copper or tin so this can hardly be enough to get a lot of money instantly.

(ah never mind, Parsifal just corrected it the minute i posted my comment)

my bad, I meant Money Cache of course.

There are players with a lot of coins, or a lot of real money to spend.
So yes, they just buy a bunch of legendary artifacts and upgrade them

Ah, Money Cache could make sense. Lots of upgrades available asap. +SAC ... yea that is a tough combo to beat if they're both insane.

That's how P2W rolls.

I just calculated it... to get all 41 artefacts of insane rarity, starting from nothing....you need to buy 205 legendary artifacts.. each costing 4860 coins

205x4860=996300

This would cost 9963 USD... quite a sum

If you are worried about not getting all 41 artefacts then think again..
if certain probability is 1, then the chance of not getting all 41 artefacts at least once is 8.01195125 x 10^-272

LOL Risky . . . if someone is collecting Insane artifacts, definitely don't need all 41. Get a small group of 10, and that should be sufficient to carry through most levels & WZIB nicely.

If you ACB, TMB, BMB, Hospital Boost, Army/Resource/Money Cache Boost, Hospital Discount, Army Camp Discount, Mine Discount at Insane level, that will likely be all you need to succeed well.

As for getting all of these . . . well there's always the option of just buying Poors until you get what you want and then buying the necessary Poor/C/UC/R/E/L fodders along the way to level them up as required. Likely a better option that gambling for the lucky one you're looking for with consecutive Legendary purchases.

With all this talk or buying artifacts, makes me think you're going to start gifting Artifacts now, not just Memberships! lol

To me the worst part of all this is not the losing (I'm accustomed to that), but that the quick-finishers end up sending a bunch of attacks to the other players and one can end up with a starting location surrounded by wastelands.

I've had this at least partially happen to me but I hadn't even considered the two problems in relation. It does stink.
