Ok Dom365, but if this game suffers from a similar amount of people sitting silently at the back playing only to not get lynched by not talking/posting then it's my last game. It really spoils the fun for me.

I'm going to do 38 roles. That means there will be 10 spare, or 9 if lawm is playing - the game will work either way.

The roles are as follows:
2x Seer
1x Idiot
2x Angel
2x Elder
2x Vigilante
1x JuggaWolf
8x Wolf
20x Villager

Seer - ability to view one player per night. Regardless of who was viewed, nothing will be in the night update.
Idiot - same as Seer, except will get a wrong result.
Angel - can protect one person per night, but cannot protect themselves.
Elder - can silence one person per voting round. That player can only post in babble for the rest of that voting round, and their votes will not counted, regardless of if they've voted or not
Vigilante - has two bullets that can be used at night at any point. If a wolf is killed, they are given the bullet back.
JuggaWolf - has the ability to make one kill at any point that cannot be saved by angels. One time use (is in addition to the wolf that night).
Wolf - Ordinary wolves. Can work as a pack to submit 1 kill per night.

In addition:
After each night, one person will randomly wake up drunk. They cannot vote during the day, and during the following night, will randomly pick a number from 1-10, at the end of the following night, assuming they're still alive, they will assume the role that was hidden behind that number.
If a wolf is the one randomly chosen, it will be announced to the thread but they will NOT choose a number. I don't want wolves defecting and ratting out the wolves.
If a villager or special is randomly chosen, their previous role will go behind the number they chose.


Yes, I'm well aware that this means that someone who's played the whole game as a villager will become a wolf late game. For this reason, I'm going to ALLOW messaging outside of the game this time. Beware, of course, that if you befriend a wolf, they may lead you astray...


*NB* The Seer can, if they wish, choose to view a role number instead of a player during the night time.

The vast majority of you will get mail saying:

You are a VILLAGER

Amongst your fellow VILLAGERS are an indeterminate, minority number of werewolves.

You are at risk of being eaten each night. Each time night occurs, a VILLAGER will be eaten by a WOLF. When that happens, they are out of the game.

It is up to the VILLAGERS to vote en-masse the next day for who they think was responsible for the killing, and who is to be lynched (also out of the game).

The WOLVES will of course masquerade as VILLAGERS and try to swing the vote to protect themselves.

And of course, one of the three of you is the idiot, despite believing otherwise.

Two people will get this:

You are an ANGEL

Unlike an ordinary VILLAGER, each night you ask me to in secret to protect a fellow player.

You will start masquerading as an ordinary VILLAGER, but it will be up to you if you reveal your powers.

It becomes complicated 'going public' because, for instance, a WOLF may well claim that they are an ANGEL and you in turn may raise suspicion amongst your fellow players. In any case, you will be picked off quite quickly if you tell people what you are.

Be careful - there may be a situation where you accidentally protect a WOLF.

Two people will get this:

You are a VIGILANTE

Unlike an ordinary VILLAGER, you have two bullets, and can shoot any player of your choosing at night.

You have two bullets for the whole game, so you can either use them immediately, to make the most of them, or save them, but risk dying before they are used - it's your choice!

In addition, if you hit a wolf, the bullet will be returned to you, so shoot wisely!

Be careful - there may be a situation where you accidentally shoot a special villager!

Two people will get this:

You are an ELDER.

Unlike an ordinary VILLAGER, you have a daily ability to silence one villager. For the rest of the day, that villager will only be able to post silly/amusing pictures in the thread, or post incoherently. More importantly, though, their votes will be removed!

So choose who you silence very wisely...

The village of Whitley-on-le-Floss (WOLF) fell silent. A couple of months ago, they had stood, side-by-side, by their local villages, and shared many memories with their compatriots. But, in the intervening time, wolves had taken over, killing everyone in each village, one-by-one. Now only their village was the only one of the triumvirate left, and everybody was petrified.

And when the villagers woke one morning to the scream of a dying man's wife, they all knew immediately what was wrong, and several cursed loudly as they grouped together to investigate the bloody mess in the town hall.

Dom365 is DEAD. He was the mayor!

His ghost still lives on and may get involved during the game if I get bored! :P
