Today I came across a feature I didn't even know existed. When you are choosing a map in the create game menu and click the sort maps button, there is an option to view Warzone's "featured maps". There are a grand total of 7 maps in this category, all of which were made between 2009 and 2010. Maybe these maps were cutting-edge a decade ago, but I think this space could be used a lot better.
It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult for Fizzer to change the maps in this category, even rotating them once in a while based on what is popular in the community. At the very least, change out some of the old junk to MTL template maps.

Imo, featured maps should be good starter maps for first-time players to explore Warzone without having to look through all the maps. Here's the 7 I think are right:
5 classics: - Small Earth Board Map - Modified Medium Earth - Imperium Romanum - Rise of Rome - Europe
1 map that showcases good aesthetics and is very different from the classics: - Haunted Mansion
1 map for players who want a huge map (showcasing size): - Afro-Eurasia Gargantuan

You don't need to throw my map in there, there are many maps more worthy than Haunted Mansion :P
Also, why should 7 be the number of maps in that category, when all other categories have hundreds of maps?
