What about Ra's new Earth map? It is a bit bigger than the current map and so should be able to handle 3 or 4 picks per person, which is one of the main complaint about the current 2v2 ladder template.

New Earth/Heavy Earth should provide a big enough map for more than 2 picks per player even if people don't really like the template. I'm sure people would warm up to it eventually.

Multi-attack should be promoted through seasonal. It's fun, and opens up your mind to a lot of creative strategies using the blockade/gift card.

Some of your options may need a little more explaining some people may not know the difference between 'true skill' and 'bayeselo' for example.

Also if you read the forums still can we have a guides section to help new players?

I agree with Psy, there are so many map options. I'm not sure why everything is centralized around ME. I think having multiple 1v1 ladders would be interesting. You can have the original, guiroma, China, etc. It may be more work than possible but it would allow Warlight to evolve away from just one template.

If that's not an option I would like 0% WR on all ladders. I don't really care about the blockade so either way is fine. Also an increased number of completed games, before a ranking is awarded, sounds good. 25 would be nice.

- 1v1 and 2v2 ladder: Trueskill and 15 chronologically first games must be completed to get a rank

- rt ladder: ME and LD templates should be reduced

I don't play rt ladder just because I don't know the most part of the templates. I think the old and experienced players have a clear advantage against "recent" players because they had played several games with every single template. In that sense, an idea could be a periodical revolution of all the templates of rt ladder.

Can you please remove local deployment in real-time...maybe i just suck at it....also for the time on 1v1 ladders instead of making it 3 months for games games to expire maybe 2 months?!?!? Because here is what ive been noticing we are running jnto a lot of alts problems on ladders and when games take 3 months to expire....anyone can easily make a new account and lvl up to lvl 49 to join ladders because of lotteries games and
Multiday games...So please make the time for the games to expire become 2 months!!

3vs3 clot was already tried. most folks intersted in the 3vs3 agreed the best map and settings would be europe warlords no cards 0% weighted, i'm sure gnuffone or sze can provide a template.

yes i completely agree. The template is right. But remove surrender must be accepted :P is a waste of times :P

Require players complete X consecutive games to achieve a rank


I'm not so sure I like this idea. To me, it penalises both parties. I understand that it's designed to combat the problem of stalling, but it also punishes the other player in the match, who is almost always innocent.

I hope this is not too off-topic, but I've always wanted to ask:
1v1 ladder: Increase the blockade multiplier to 500% like the 2v2 ladder, or keep it at 351%

Why 351!? Why not simply 350? I used to think it was to force round up (for instance, with three armies: 3 * 350% = 10.5 vs. 3 * 351% = 10.53), but since halves get rounded up anyway, that can't be it. But then what is the reason?

First off, I appreciate this discussion from Fizzer.

1) My biggest thing is the luck settings, I agree with others that want a poll on %16 vs %0 and WR vs SR.

2) I agree something needs to be tweaked on matchup process. Potato and I are 11-0 and still sub 1800 rating on 2v2 ladder. Yes, I realize we should have done only 2 games at a time to start. But, a ladder should test you, not require gaming the system.

3) CLOTs. I would gladly get a 3v3 europe one going. the trouble is CLOT requires lots of tweaking out of the box to get anywhere. I think you designed it for maximum customization, which is cool, but it also requires more work to get it anywhere you want. It would be nice if you had a rating system built in, rather than going by W-L to start out. There are 3-4 of us that have worked on CLOTs extensively on here, some more successful than others, but all die. The reason is they require so much tweaking up front that the person gives up. Sure, once you have it all set, you don't have to babysit it, but they are hard to get everything you want in them right away so people roll things out incrementally and lose interest. Some help there would go a long way to alleviating all these ladder requests you get.

If you really want do it, you have to make a range of the opponent can play you.
Take a look of my last 1v1 on rt ladder: i lost 1 point bc he had low rating even if i won..
