With the Clan War rollout, it seems that the Clan list is now sorted by Clan Ranking (in the latest Clan War), then the original sort order (total # of points). Can we get clan rating (in the latest Clan War) as the secondary sort (before total points)? So clans with the same ranking/# of territories get sorted by clan rating rather than total points + clan that don't get any territories or get ranked still get sorted by rating, showing up above all the clans that don't participate in the Clan War. This would also make it much easier to figure out how many clans are actively participating in the clan war, since you can just traverse the list until you see 0 clan war rating.

This would help surface active clans in the clan rating, especially ones that are currently buried in the inactivity heap at the bottom.

all jokes aside, it looks a bit weird rn since only a few clans played CW yet

I think Fizzer should first fix the current bugs in CW (double RT games being the most important one), then run a 2nd test season.
After that the first real season can be run, and then the clan sorting and CW rewards can be reviewed and balanced.

Eh I think this is a no-brainer personally. The total points sorting, when it comes to surfacing active or accomplished clans, has a rubbish usefulness level.

You're right that a larger map will make this a lot easier (since most clans in future Clan Wars should actually get territories) but for tiebreakers & the like I'd argue clan war rating is a far better secondary sort than all-time total points: both because it surfaces activity and because it encourages Clan War participation (because incremental benefits of participation show up on the clans list). This would also make a difference while the season is still progressing (assuming the sort is live rather than frozen based on the past season), because then we'll still have lots of participating clans with the same number of territories.

If it's not a major code change I think it can be done fast. We don't have any visibility into that, so it's really up to Fizzer to triage this feature request. Imo it's more valuable if our feedback is more about what we want/how much we want it and free from any speculation about the time-cost of what's on Fizzer's plate. He can handle prioritization himself.

I love this idea. It would show actual good clans on the top.

Maybe display the clans’ total points on the clan page considering the Clan War rating is?
