fizzer is the only developer as far as anyone knows. also he replies to mail pretty quick unless....
also i don't understand what you mean by not getting the correction to the game? people can only suggest new features or improvements. you cant just have them after mailing him. and i think you ain't the only one spending money here.

You emailed me a rant-fueled profanity-ridden email with outrageous demands yelling about your artifact "not working" with screenshots as "proof".

I calmly and politely explained how the artifact worked and pointed to your own screenshots proving that it did, in fact, work exactly as described.

Then you replied with more profanity and crude language and made no attempts to actually try and understand how the artifact worked, instead repeated your demands.

I calmly and politely explained that I'm blocking you due to your language. So you're correct that you're "not getting support". I tried my best to give you support but you weren't interested in it.

Perhaps this Max guy doesn't understand how game upgrades work? Takes time to write them, test them, deploy them, etc. And that's if your recommendations are even among the chosen few that make it into the game - and of course most don't. There are hundreds, actually likely thousands of requests in the wild. Obviously all of them can't make it in. Partly due to time of 1 developer. If it were a team of developers, more could be done, but with just 1 guy, have to prioritize. But also some just aren't good ideas, and maybe some of them even conflict with each other. Point being, asking != getting, and no one should expect what they ask for to be implemented at all, never mind in a tight timeline.

BUT ... his comment does reinforce 1 aspect of WZI that imho needs improvement: the mechanics are opaque and non-intuitive to the point where players think stuff "isn't working". How many times have you yourself (you=yea you, whoever you are, the person reading this right now):

- captured a territory and it consumed more armies than you anticipated based on your level of Joint Strike, Hospitals and whatever other means you have available (Triple Strike artifact, etc)?
- equipped an artifact and questioned if it was working properly? Maybe your 40% army camp boost is only giving a 10-20% bonus, or your 8% merc discount artifact only gives a 4% reduction, etc.
- used a power and got an unexpected results? Maybe it was a Market Raid that got you 0 quantity of some item you really needed and used it to get (I've done this - but the point is, I don't know if I'm going to get 0, 1, 5 or 50 of an item before using the power), maybe it was a Free Cache you hoped/expected to get 500M armies for but only got 75M, etc.
- upgraded an army camp/mine/hospital/tech/AP advancement and got different results than you expected. NOTE: For army camps, mines, hospitals, this has been resolved now with Statistics - pay for the AP advancement and you can see these, and this helps A LOT. But still not clear for tech & AP advancements.

My answers are: all the time, all the time, more often than I'm okay with. And this is players being confused with effects of mechanics where we can actually see & measure a difference, like Money Boost artifact, Hospital discount Tech, etc - you can look at the value before & compare to the value after. And we're confused. But there are many items where we can't do this, like AP advancement for Additional Mercs or Increase Drafts, etc - we have no way of knowing how many mercs would be in the camp without our AP advancement or how big the draft would be without the AP advancement (or the artifact) in effect, and thus we just see a # and think "Is it bigger than it would have been? Is my AP advancement/artifact having an effect?" And because we're already confused with the items we _can_ see & measure, of course we're skeptical of the items we _can't_ see or measure.

Point being ... the mechanics are both unintuitive AND in many cases opaque (unclear, don't know how they're working/being calculated, etc) so that it's hard to see the results even when things are working in the capacity we expect them. It's super confusing to players, and this is frustrating. It should be intuitive and clear how things work so players can make better, informed choices and get the intended results.
