As we all know, sometimes you play a griefer who refuses to surrender and forces you to chase them down and eliminate them (or get booted in the process). This isn't against the rules. What's also not against the rules is refusing to eliminate these griefers, flipping the tables, and challenging these gutless vermin to a battle of wills- in which you, as always, triumph.

If they can't surrender in the game, then they will learn to surrender in the tutorial.

ETA: Always make sure first that they're actually refusing to surrender rather than unable to find the Surrender button. Good to be helpful and respectful as your first option and only opt for this tit-for-tat when it's clear that they don't respect your time. Otherwise you end up in the awkward situation where you end up wasting both yours and theirs!

This is hilarious. I might have to write up the saga of Antho's game real quick. Although it doesnt fit the criteria of this post it fits the spirit. It was a 3v3 on the big Pacific map. Three newish players on their team, one on ours. I did what I could to drag our absolute numbskull teammate to what I thought was an easy win, all the while our dear L1 was chirping about endless nonsense in team chat. Bad RP in a regular team game, poor decisions, and more. I was fighting him more than I was fighting the other team! I had a facepalm migraine at one point.

It later escalated when I gave my overwhelming income in public chat as a blatant but friendly suggestion to gg. That works in civil games. Not this one! The other team started chirping me for being a poor sport and whatnot. I had to tell them no I'm not elite, an elite player wouldn't have joined this corny game in the first place! I was already churning a bit from my pet L1s insistence on playing terribly (at that point he was the baby yoda to my mandalorian lol), meanwhile I was having to private message my other teammate just to get anything done gamewise. For what its worth, they though my trolling was mostly justified, and a little funny.

So one night while I was intoxicated I realized I could trap each player in a single spot (like the OP of this post lol), force them to learn how to surrender, and the first player's spot was named Babadayo. In true absurdist fashion it became babby daycare and I played an insane helicopter mom for a few turns before I realized there was also a bit of a language barrier. None of the bits landed, and our noob of a teammate surrendered a turn or two before he was going to be informed he'd be also taken to daycare for being the worst player of the bunch. In the end I expended a metric ton of energy and (by the end) thirty minutes a turn trolling myself playing that game, and it only reinforced my already standing rule to not join lowby games. Cause its not about what you win, its about what you lose.

its rough to dig up on the phone, cringy af, and doesnt actually fit the criteria, plus id have to take some team chat pics to show what caused our third to quit and also to help make me look like less of an ahole all the sudden when its finally time to gg that godforsaken game lol. sorry itll have to stay buried as a tall tale where it belongs. the bits i didnt use were funnier than the ones i did, though i doubt they wouldve landed either!

had one on biomes, can't be bothered to search through thousands of games to find it, but i had every single territory but one and had sanctioned myself several times. the opponent assumed i was asian cos i was in asia at the time and was a bit racist about it. built up a few hundred armies around the last territory but then got bored and just won.

unfortunately met the same player a week or so later and lost :(
