I played Warzone Idle Battles for the first time today. They were fun. But of the 7 I attempted to play (with 10+ players), I got “disconnected” from 4 of them before the battle actually started, and after the message went away the app seemingly stopped responding and I had to force close and reopen. I was still able to get into one of the battles after being “disconnected” and reopening the app, but the other 3 times it said there were no battles happening.

3/7 success rate to even join a match (even with 10 players) is pretty bad.

I also put “disconnected” in quotes because I have never received that message from other parts of the app before, nor while the battle is happening, which makes me skeptical that it’s a connection issue.

I notice that the battles “disconnect” right around the time they might be starting, and so far I was only “disconnected” after I had successfully played a battle the attempt prior to that.

I am assuming it is a bug.

I have disproven my theory that it happens only after successfully participating in a battle. It seems that was a coincidence, since I couldn’t join this time either.

This time I tried not force closing, and letting it try to work itself out—and I got the “disconnected” notification to close after repeated attempts. And I believe I was still connected since I was able to use the global chat, while in the waiting room.

It just stayed on

waiting for players to join... “

Until I exited the page.


Is this not happening to anyone else?

Nope, never had that issue. I’m either playing on desktop or an iPad over WiFi though. Are you trying to play from mobile maybe?

Happens to me about 50% of the time on mobile. I hope that it eventually becomes possible to rejoin battles you are dced from.

I've been DC'd from 4-5 battles so far ... but I've played in 20-30 so it's the exception not the norm.

But in at least 2 of my failures, it was a full DC for every player in the game.

I’ve had better luck yesterday and today since I first made that post.

I have been playing battles on mobile, so it could have to do with that.

One thing that helped me today was pressing the back button and rejoining as soon as I was DC’ed. Otherwise the page won’t refresh on its own it seems. But doing that let me Re-join.
