Okay, but what about America's blocked goal in the middle of the game? That wasn't luck?

But, more pressing, why can't a soccer game end when time runs out? Who decided that Portugal should get an extra 5 minutes to tie? The mafia that has numbers running on the game? Put the game clock out in the open so everyone knows when the game is over. Stop the clock WHEN the clock stops, then start it when it should start. Is it that difficult?

Scoring 4:45 into an arbitrary 5:00 extension isn't lucky or unlucky. It's BS.

They don't stop the clock as in basketball or many other sports, so they add the breaks into extension

the way the weakling yanks were acting, it should have been 10 minutes of extra time. they spent most of the last 20 minutes pausing the game because the genetically inferior americans kept getting cramp. on 90+1 the game stopped for an entire 90 seconds because thats how long it took a subbed american to walk off the pitch.
