Hello!

I am a long time player using Firefox as I hate the UJS layout. Suddenly this combination has stopped working. I reinstalled flash, made sure that Bitdefender accepts this site, but warzone says it cannot detect it. What can I do?

Flash will not be supported anymore by december this year. Every browser is taking steps to prevent people from using it, as Flash has some major security risks associated with it. You can try Unity or UJS. If you buy a membership, you can try the standalone client.

Is the unity layout ok? Does it have issues?

That's subjective. Personally, I'd take UJS over Unity any time of day

Then goodbye warzone.

The layout is terrible. Not a computer guy, but I think it would have been easy to copy just the flash layout.

Use the Brave browser, flash works fine on Warzone for me. I hate UJS too.

Pay for a membership and use the unity app.

Instead of saying that the layout is “shit”, you could say what aspects of the Flash layout you want to keep.

You could turn off updates for browsers, preventing Flash from being removed...

No. This is absolutely not true.

It really isn't that easy to copy layouts from one multimedia software to another. Each software has its own unique scripting method, interface, interpreter, etc.

This is analogous to telling someone who has a FORTRAN script that they can just copy their code into python and expect it to work.

It's not entirely stand alone. Still need an internet connection. < (edit)

^ you don’t need a browser for the standalone client, it’s in the name!

It can be downloaded from https://www.warzone.com/wiki/Standalone_client. Requires membership.

For now
In Firefox, you now need to set up Flash manually (and put it where Firefox can see it) to be able to enable it on sites:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-flash-plugin-view-videos-animations-games

You might have to do that and enable it for Warzone to be able to use the Flash client again. PM me if you need help with this (some of the instructions are _slightly_ out of date); I just verified that Firefox+Flash works for me.

In the long run
Like everyone else pointed out, Flash end-of-life is at the end of this year. After that, Adobe will stop maintaining Flash and no browsers will care the least about Flash support. Things might just suddenly stop working one day and unless you're really invested and willing to put in effort to patch all sorts of opaque bugs you will not be able to do a single thing. Give UJS another try. It's considerably better than the old Unity interface and pretty easy to pick up.
