What do you guys think of this idea?

A group chat option where you can private message with a more than one player.

Would have the benefit of being able to coordinate larger alliances, like NATO or the EU, as currently it is quite hard to build a relationship between more than one player at a time!

It would also add flexibility to the game, as now the only way to get a team cha is using fixed teams - whereas in Diplomacy games players often change teams!

Hell yeah.

Right up there with a "Note to Self" tab as well.

Yup, like small chat groups inside game. we can invite a member to the chat group and if he accepts he is in.

Yeah exactly. This idea is quite popular, I have floated it in quite a few Diplomacy games, and would enable much more in-depth playing in Diplomacy games!

Hm, it's sad that it's a custom mod to provide core in-game communications, though.

Yeah, hopefully it can be incorporated into the main game - would be revolutionary for us non-members that love diplos!

It is also slightly unfair, as a few players use Discord as a platform to communicate in larger grouper, for the purpose of creating larger alliances. This means that those of us that don’t use Discord are at a certain disadvantage!
