Sometimes the French AI starts with taking the +5, still not luck based or should I just restart at this point?

There is a small chance of random Ai behavior on turn1. Aside from that it's a 100% win. So out of 9 attempts I would probably win 10.

The only point where luck affects the outcome is in egypt @lepanto. There the AI gets to chose to deploy either +5 and +1 or +6...

The french AI went always the same way for me, other players have different expansion for the AI there as norm

I can kill the French AI on turn 4, but can't reach the other AIs before they diplo me.

The French AI went "wrong" for me in about 25% of games, and I had bad luck in Syria as well. But that happens.

Congratulatons Timi on getting the first win, and good job to all other players that have managed to do so as well!
8 players have managed to score a win. It took them on average 22 attempts to find the solution!

There is a way to force the Ai to max deploy in one territory, which makes it not luck based. Or so I would think

What I mean is that there is a way to bait the AI into attacking you from Carthago, but apparently this doesnt work all the time, sometimes he doesnt fall for the bait (happened one time for me). Did nothing else in that run than in the winning run.

Wow, how many tries were needed to figure out the move order between AI and human?

I see the moves, but don't follow how he stopped the AI from using a diplo.
