Hey!
Some things to be noted for iran:
1.You forgot the capital Tehran :D
2.There is one territory wrongly named, it should be: Chaharmahal and Bakhtiyari province + Kohgeluyeh and Buyr-Ahmad province.
3.There probably will be playability issues because of Qeshm and Kish. They connect the persian gulf coasts together, so will be fought for. A suggestion would be thaat you make a kish and qeshm (maybe add Abu musa/Big and Small tumb islands) into a seperate bonus called Strait of hormuz islands or something.

Anyway a great map, ill continue looking into middle east :)

p.s. : The super bonus for saudi arabia seems a bit too much, ill check it again tomorrow, need a bit of sleep.

3. I'm not sure what do you mean by that, but I don't see anything bad about Persian Gulf. It would be impossible to add any more islands there because it's too small.
p.s. Middle-sized should give you 110% armies for the number of territories. Saudi Arabia gives 4+3+3+3+6=19, and has 17 territories, so it's just the way it should be

3.What i meant is maybe make a seperate bonus for kish, Qeshm and (maybe) Bahrain -I get that you cant make more islands - and name the bonus the Persian gulf islands because players will use these islands to go through the persian gulf. Just an idea :)

That would go against the design of the map. I'm making bonuses according to political divisions. Making a bonus that would consist of two Iran's islands and one sovereign state would look extremely strange.

I think there is something wrong with the preview.
The territories have large spikes on them making the map unusable. Is this only appearing with me?

Yeah that was noted in another thread, I believe he is working on it. I personally think this is great. Begins the disco era of the world. Oh the maps we could have.

You weren't kidding about western US looking terrible. Though some of the lines can be straighter and many of the states are out of proportion. While it the distortion may seem to be of no consequence in other parts of the map, the neat straight lines of the US makes something look wrong. Even taking the distortion into consideration, something still seems wrong. Sorry if I'm being too critical.

Even taking the distortion into accout, the korean peninsula looks way to long.

Then you're clearly not taking the distortion into account.

On the Mercator Projection Greenland is about the size of Africa, which in fact is 15 times bigger. On the other hand, on my map with different projection, korean pennisula is 2-3 times longer than it should be.

Arun can you make a game with me, i got a few questions as isslander is away and i dont know some stuff about the colours of the bonuses ;)

why not add water territories like pacific and such
