Kicked means that you're expelled. That doesn't make sense, because unis can't expel without valid reasons.

I do mean that my college is closed temporarily. The manner in which they closed, however, feels like they kicked everyone out. The administration sent out an email on a Thursday at 2pm telling all residents that they needed to be gone by 5pm the next day. Many went back to areas where COVID 19 was already known to exist, like Philadelphia. But it's here in my county now, anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.
